<h4>Chapter 1976 - Lab 16 II</h4>


    Lab 16 is like many other ces in the Edna charmboratories; it had spatially expanded and divided into multiple sections. From the information we have received, it had not been fully explored; there is a good chance I might be able to find the resin here; I hope we do.


    Thisb is something else entirely; even after reading the information about it, I could not believe I was seeing what I was seeing, or rather what Ashlyn was showing me through her vision.


    The security formations are everywhere, and more than half of them are invisible, releasing not the slightest fluctuation. If Ashlyn had not shown me what I was seeing, it would have taken me hours to cross just a few meters.


    The information had said that lots of people had died exploring thisb, and those who sessfully explored it or survived aftering here, had spent weeks here.


    "Follow me to the step," I said to Elina as I closed my one eye to sync Ashlyn''s vision with mine. This is one of the best abilities of Ashlyn; when I came to know about it in previous ruin, I couldn''t help but get shocked; even now, I am shocked by it.


    Through this ability, I could see the formations that were deeply hidden; they did not release any energy fluctuation and could not be seen visually.


    This amazing ability is extraordinary but not perfect; through it, Ashlyn could show me the hidden formations, but the runes on its would-be hazy. If I want to see the runes, I will have to bring them out the usual way before breaking them.


    Still, I am more than satisfied with it; I would be able to cross the way in minutes that had taken others hours or days and taken the lives of more than half of the people who havee here.


    We walked cautiously, avoiding one security formation after another, passing by thebs that had been picked clean by others.


    Lab 16 is not a singleb; there are more than littlebs insides, each producing a different alchemicalponent that will help me in the production of that importantpound, which is very important for bloodline research.


    We passed by the sixbs, all of them picked clean before stopping in front of the seventh one, which looked like it had not been touched by anyone.


    It had a simple ss door. One would not think there is any runic formation on it, but it had; I could see the hazy runes of the formation. I will have to bring the formation out before breaking it.


    I did not waste any time and brought out the air pen, and the next moment, hundreds of runes began to spew out of it one after another.


    Buzz!


    It took neen minutes and a shit load amount of ink before the formation worked and the hidden formation in the door revealed itself. I had captured the formation in the calibrator and began to solve it; it had needed me around one hour and twenty minutes to crack the formation.


    Crack Crack Crack…


    The runes again spew of my air pen before they turned into the formation and stuck on the door, and a secondter, the runes began to crack and turned into dust, giving usplete ess to the door.

    I opened the ss door and went inside, and as I had read in the information, there are no security formations here. These formations are only present outside; as long as you are able to enter inside, you are free to take whatever you want.


    It is the case not only for thisb but otherbs too; the owners have left them here for us.


    This ce had been abandoned before the piece ofnd broken away from its world. Though it had been abandoned, the original owners of this ce did not take away all the stuff. They only took the important stuff and left the less important to us.


    It could be said they left behind a fraction of their legacy for those who might find this ce in the future; it is one of the reasons we are even able to break through its defenses. If they had been even 1% of their original, we would not be able to take even a single leaf of grass from this ce.


    "You take a left; I will take a right," I said to Elina. She nodded, and we went to loot theb with excited and hopeful expressions on our faces.


    I directly went for thepartments; it is the resources I need. It would find, if I did not get a single artifact, I do not need it, but I need resources, resources like resin and divine crystals.


    All the storagepartments here are imprinted with powerful preserving formation that even after thousands of years, the resources here would be in the perfect state.

    I opened the firstpartment, and disappointed expressions couldn''t help but appear on my face. Thepartment is not empty; it is holding extremly precious resources, two ores, and root, but it is not what I need.


    With disappointment, I carefully took out the resources from their storage and stored them in my ring before opening thepartment below it, which was empty. Seeing that, I shook my head and opened anotherpartment, which again helped the very precious resources but not the ones I needed.


    I opened the rest of thepartments of the shelf and not found the resources I needed. I did not let myself became too disappointed and moved to another shelf, there are several of them, and there is hope that I might find what I need here.


    With hope burning in my mind, I moved to other shelves, hoping my luck would shine and I would finally get what I needed, but it seemed like the luck did not seem to be with me today as all the shelves I opened, I did not find what I need in them.
