"Then, I will kill you to show you!" It said with a toothedugh and brought down its hammer at me, and I once again moved my spear to defend.
CLANNNG!
Its hammer came down on my spear, lighting all the runes inside me and sending me back toward the wall, spewing out blood out of my mouth, mixed with the tiny pieces of my internal organs.
A clear surprise could be seen on the Grimms face; it might have expected its attack to send me sttering against the wall, seeing it was more powerful than the previous attack that had sent me flying hard.
It is all due to the quick changes I was able to make in time.
Regretfully, they will only help me bear its physical attack to a certain extent. So, I will only be able to fight offensively, which is fine too, considering whom I am fighting; not many people in High-Grandmaster ss would survive.
With its power, it has a great chance of killing many of the council members.
"He, it seemed like you were hiding a little bit of strength, but it is not going to help you," it said and brought down its hammer at me.
My back was just a meter away from the wall, and I wanted to dodge the attack, but its attack was not something you could dodge, not because it was because it was powerful. Though it is a reason, there is another, the biggest.
Its skills.
The bastard was the most skilled enemy I had ever faced.
Though I have shed against the Grand Lord, it was not a fight; the bastard had just sneak attacked me, and I have defended.
CLANNNG!
Once again, its huge hammer shed against my spear and sent me back, but not as expected as it was; I moved back barely two steps before I was able to stop myself, and this time, I had not vomited.
"Surprised?" I asked, seeing the surprise shing in its cold hard eyes.
CLANNNG
"Ants don''t surprise me," it said through gritted teeth and attacked me, and once again, my spear shed, but this time something shocking had happened; I bore its attack without stepping back.
CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG
That made the Grimm very angry, and it began tounch a barrage of attacks on me, which I was barely able to defend.
I had not thought someone would be able to force me to this state after I had reached theplete limit. At every defense, I wanted to summon my shields and watch this bastard helplessly try to break through it, and the only reason I hadn''t done this was because I wanted to learn this from this bastard.
What I am doing is very risky, but seeing the benefits, I will continue with this strategy.
More than ten minutes passed, and it still continued attacking me, changing the types of attacks every few minutes, some of which made things easier while others harder.
I acted as if all the attacks were the same; they were affecting me at the same level. If I had shown their real result, then my shields would have already be active by now, and I don''t know whether I would be even fighting it.
My shields will reveal my identity, and once it did, not many Grimms willing to fight me. I had a member of the coven running away the moment it realized who I was, and there was even a strict warning to those below Grand Lord for engaging me.
CLANNNG!
Its hammer came shed against my spear, sending thick snow lightning covering the hammer at me. It had covered me thoroughly in an instant before beginning to drill inside me.
It is a powerful attack that would have frozen one''s body with numbness; even with all my energy resistance, I feel numb as this attack strike me.
"I think we should stop me; it is clear you can''t defeat me. It is better we conserve our energy to fight against the other enemies," I said and looked at it with pleading eyes.
Snort!
"You can forget about that human; not even your deal body will leave today!" It said and brought down its hammer at me, and I usually moved my spear in defense.
Half an hour passed, and I was quite shocked that I had survived for such a long time. I did not think I would; I had thought by now it would have already forced me to summon my shields, but I am still surviving.
It is all due to the changes I am constantly making in my inheritance, which is helping me in defending against its attacks; not to mention, my ownbat style is also adapting, which by itself is a tremendous help.
"Fuck!"
The Grimm cursed as it stopped as ced its hammer down while it red at me with hate. "You are the most frustrating human I have ever met, even more than that bastard Leon," it said as it red at me with hate.
"So, ready to give up now?" I asked with a smile, which clearly had a hint of tiredness. We had been fighting for more than two hours, and seeing how it had not been able to kill me yet, it had no option to give up.
Well, I am not disappointed; I had a fulfilling battle that I am almost sad that it is ending.
"Give up? No," it said with a shake of its head while smiling at me toothily. "I have one more move, which I don''t use except when I am in mortal danger ore against the enemies, who could pose a mortal danger to me in a rtive future," it said, and I began to sense something terrifying out of it.
"You can''t be using that?" I asked with a visible fear in my eyes. "It might give you strength but leave you weakened afterward; this is not something you want," I said in a pacifying tone while casting a faint nce to the left.
"It is your own fault, human," it said as she shook its head with a sigh. "You are good, and given your strength; there is a slight chance that you might be able to take that step here, and I could not allow even the slightest chance,"
"As for the risk associated with it, you don''t have to worry about that. I have little something that will help me recover in a short time," it said, faintly ncing to the left.
The second more passed, and the cracking dam sted open.
BANG!
The blood-red aura sted out of its body. It had burned its essence, converting it into power that had shaken me to my core.
I am sure, with such power, it would definitely be able to exchange moves against a Grand Lord for a minute at the least.
"Now, it is time for you to die, Human!" it said and raised its hammer and brought it down at me with such power that is enough to crush anyone below Grand Lord, even me, if it hit me, but unfortunately, it is not going to happen.
"Stop!" I said, and the rules obeyed.
