Chapter 928 Bringing The Howlers Together

    He had been listening in on what ke and Innu had to tell him. Both of them had learned more about the country, the gangs that ruled them, and the Altereds behind them since joining the Altered Hunters.


    Earning more stars, they had ess to more information, and on top of that, it was part of their own job to pass on this information back. With the ranking that the two of them had, Edvard, the leader of the Altered Hunters, had asked them to join them.


    “The Altered Hunters were aware of what was happening in Slough,” Innu exined. “ke went ahead and asked our leader, telling him that we were from Slough and had those we cared about. So he let use here, and once we were done, we needed to go and help them with what they needed to do.”


    Kai was extremely surprised by the news. He had no idea why the Altered Hunters were attacking Ruin City, and he was sure that ke and Innu didn’t know the reasons behind it.


    Apart from the fact that they were considered a strong Altered group and they were following the Altered Hunters'' goals. In the end, it would all work out for them, and it would give them time to recover. Who knew, maybe the Altered Hunters would defeat Lupus and his gang, and there was nothing they could do.


    Yet, Kai had to n for the worst.


    “I’m sorry,” Innu said. “I want to be here, I want to help everyone, I want to say goodbye to the ones that lost their lives, like Tyler, but I owe a lot to the Altered Hunters, and if I don’t go help them, then even more people that I care about could lose their lives.”


    “I promise, when this is all done, I wille back and pay my respects. I’ll be back with the Howlers; I just at least owe them this much.”


    Kai and Gary both understood; they needed to do what they needed to do.


    “ke, Innu, both of you are heading into danger. I don’t want to be saying goodbye to both of you,” Gary said. “I can’t help you now, as I need to be here to help out Slough, and I owe others a favor… but if you’re in trouble.”


    “I know,” ke said. “But you can’t do that. The Altered Hunters are your enemy as well, Gary; don’te looking for us… we will survive.”


    The two of them waved their goodbyes and they were off. Knowing that news, Kai was a little more rxed thinking that an attack wouldn’t happen any time soon, and it was time for them to gather everyone they could.


    In Cipen, people were moving out, some were receiving first aid treatment; others were heading to the hospital. The Howlers members were looking at other things. Many bodies had been covered with sheets ced over them.


    Both Kevin and Park, two Werewolves that had managed to survive, had jumped over to where Gary was and bowed down to him.


    “I have a report to make,” Park stated. “The Howlers areplying with everything you have asked and have spread to do work through the city. The damage is minimal in Cipen due to what had urred and the protection around it.


    “The status of Burnham Street… We have been told it’s in a bad state, but there are arge number of survivors. As for Crowley as well… he is alive and well, and is recovering. Although I don’t know how long until he can move, I would suggest taking him to the hospital.”


    Gary was snappy and nodded, but he soon found himself walking over to one of the covered bodies. Lifting up the sheet, when looking at the face, he had to gulp down his emotions. n/?/vel/b//jn dot c//om


    ‘I’m sorry, Tyler, I’m sorry I wasn’t fast enough, I’m sorry that I brought you into all of this… your death is on my shoulders, and I will take it everywhere I go with me.’


    Gary continued to burn in the images of Tyler as he went on to remember everything the two of them had done. A normal young adult that got swayed into everything by ident, much like himself.


    ”Hey, who are you!” Park shouted. “Put them down right now!”


    Gary turned around to see what themotion was about, and he could see that Park and Kevin as well as other Howlers members had two individuals surrounded. Over their shoulders, there were two familiar bodies.


    “Hey hey, we''re the good guys here; will you calm down,” a familiar voice said.


    As Gary went over, he lifted his hand.


    “Everyone, don’t worry, they are here to help me, I know these two… thank you for being here, Ice and ckjack.”


    The two bodies that they were holding onto were Olivia and Marie. They ced them on the floor; they looked injured, bones broken that weren’t healing as they should have done.


    However, Gary knew one thing, thanks to the system, they were still alive.


    “What happened to these two… who did they go against to end up like this?” Kai asked as he came over.


    He started to eye up both ckjack and Ice, wondering who they were. He didn’t recognize them, but imagined they were those that had helped Gary. The thing was, Kai started to sniff the air; there was an aggravating smell.


    “I brought these two because I thought they were close to you, and didn’t know what you wanted to do with them,” ckjack said.


    After finishing the sentence, the sound of sniffing was heard again. Footsteps followed as a particr individual wasing over.


    “That smell, that disgusting smell, I know it, I know what it is!”


    With both feeting in front of him, Midwak’s eyes were transforming as he looked right at ckjack.
