Chapter 1118: Gate Guarding BOSS
Based on individual strength, every yer from the Quan Zhen Sect was an exceptional talent equipped with incredible weapons and armour. In this aspect, they wouldn’t be too far off from professional experts.
However, professional experts were frightening not only because of their level of skills.
As a professional expert, they were extremelyprehensive regardless of whether it was in terms of movements, subconsciousness, judgement and strategies. Inparison, the fes from the Quan Zhen Sect were merely a bunch of yers slightly better at killing BOSSes.
The most frightening point about professional experts was their immense obsession with PVP. It was to the extent where no ordinary yers could possibly strike to reach for.
These professional yers were exceedingly familiar with every job and every skill of each job in the game. They knew how to coordinate each skill with other skills to result in the greatest effect as well as what strategies to use in different situations. Exploiting and bringing out the greatest potential of their team’sbat power was the topic of their research every day.
After all, most of the professional experts’ time was spent on this. Equipment and weapons would naturally be brought to them.
Inparison, ordinary yers spent most of their time either trying to increase their levels or gathering materials for their equipment. With the exception of PK maniacs, most ordinary yers would do their best to avoid PK, let alone research on strategies for different PK. In fact, yers obsessed with PVE might not even know anything about PVP at all.
While the Quan Zhen Sect’s yers had plenty of PK experience, that was all. Aspared to professional experts, they would never be as professional. If they were to go against professional experts now, things might not be as simple as they first imagined.
“Alright! Let’s stop thinking so much!”
Seeing how distracted everyone was, Fearless eximed, “Let’s not care whether they are professional experts for the time being. At the very least, we cannot sit here and wait for our death.”
“So what do we do next?” Everyone looked towards Fearless.
“Very simple!” Fearless continued, “Right now, we are way too passive so the first thing we have to do is to transform from passive to active. We can do this...”
...
In Twilight City, Fearless met with the opponents. In the dungeon, Wang Yu brought Mystery Observer and the rest as they started the dungeon quest.
Dominica’s Descent was supposedly a famous guild dungeon. Mystery Observer was never convinced they couldplete the dungeon with just the four of them.
Since everyone was trapped here, they had nothing better to do as well. Instead of wasting time sitting around, they didn’t mind giving themselves something to do.
Looking at the current scene, Dominica’s Lair was a cave. Because Dominica was a massive dragon, the cave was naturallyrger in size. There were faint blue mes fluttering around the cave asionally which made the entire cave abnormally eerie.
Such eeriness would make even ordinary men slightly frightened, let alone Five gtree.
Wang Yu walked in front as Five gtree followed closely behind Wang Yu. Mystery Observer and Unfathomable Mystery were both at the back but dared not drift too far away from Wang Yu.
If it was any other ordinary dungeon, there would definitely be quite a number of small monsters wandering around. However, Dominica’s Lair was lifeless and there wasn’t even a single bone, let alone a small monster.
Just like that, the four of them walked for another five minutes before seeing an architecture that looked simr to a main city.
The walls of this main city were pitch-ck which made it looked exceptionally firm and hard. On closer inspection, it wasn’t hard to tell that this wall was actually formed by the human skulls.
As an Archer, it might not be a good thing that Five gtree was the first to notice such things like that.
F*ck! Who knows why the designers of the game have such abnormal tastes? How can they even think of such an extreme scene?
The entrance of the main city was shut tight as the words were carved on the gate: City of Departed Spirits.
On the two sides of the city gate were two massive and towering guards who looked extremely fearsome.
Wang Yu and the rest threw a probing skill over to check on the two guards as the attributes of the two guards appeared in front of them.
Departed Spirit Monarch, Hasma (LV70) (Obsidian BOSS) (Elite)
HP: 8000000
MP: 2000000
Skill: [Spirit Harvesting], [Spirit st], Proficient in Warrior Skills
Talent: Live And Die Together
Background description: One of the supreme monarchs of the Sixth Empire of <<REBIRTH>> while he was still alive. He was a formidable Warrior but before darkness descended, his desire for undying strength led him to seek help from the underworld legion. He was eventually beheaded during the War of Judgement by the God of War.
As one of the peak experts of the human species, Hasma’s body possessed tremendous strength and energy. After being killed, his corpse was resurrected by Master Tyrone using departed spirits.
Departed Spirit. Bradley (LV70) (Obsidian BOSS) (Elite)
HP: 2000000
MP: 8000000
Skill: [Departed Spirit Blessed Tune], [Departed Spirit Summoning], Proficient in Witchcraft
Talent: Live And Die Together
Background description: One of the marshals of the Sixth Empire of <<REBIRTH>> while he was still alive. He was a formidable Witchcraft Magician but before darkness descended, his desire for undying strength led him to seek help from the underworld legion together with his elder brother. He was shot to his death by the Demon Hunter during the War of Judgement.
As one of the peak experts of the human species, Bradley’s body possessed tremendous strength and energy. After being killed, his corpse was resurrected by Master Tyrone using departed spirits.
“F*ck, f*ck, f*ck!!!”
Looking at the attributes of the two guards, Mystery Observer started having goosebumps all over his body.
It was no wonder this dungeon had such a reputation of not being able to return from it. Just the guards at the gate were Obsidian-level BOSS. What was the point of even trying? Wouldn’t they be simply sending themselves to death?
At the thought of this, Mystery Observer dragged Wang Yu’s cor and whispered, “City Lord Iron Bull, let’s go back...”
“Go back? What for?” a confused Wang Yu asked.
Mystery Observer pointed at the two BOSS as he cried out, “You saw those attributes and there is no way we can defeat them. There is no need for us to die here just like that.”
If the two monsters standing at the gate were ordinary monsters, Mystery Observer might even be the first to try his luck. However, the two BOSSes standing there were simply too frightening.
Under the challenge mode, a person’s death would only result in a decrease of 1% experience. However, there is nothing about dropping equipment during such deaths...
yers could still train and return to their levels if the consequences were merely a decrease in level. However, dropping equipment would mean that it would be gone forever.
Wang Yu smiled despite knowing what was going on in Mystery Observer’s head, “You are afraid of dropping equipment, right? But if we cannotplete the quest, we will never be able to leave. So what if you have a full body of equipment?”
“This...” Mystery Observer’s face turned red, “One day, yers from outside will be capable enough to attack this dungeon...”
“Haha!” Wang Yu chuckled, “You’re going to wait until then? By then, your equipment will not be worth anything at all and your guild will belong to someone else. I think you will rather die when that happens...”
“F*ck...” Mystery Observer was at a loss for words as he sighed, “Alright then, Unfathomable, let’s do this!”
