    “Head into the City Lord Mansion!”


    Just when Sanguine Warg was overwhelmed with panic, he received a timely call from Fearless.

    As soon as the Assassins from Assassin Monarch entered the residence, a voice resounded in their ears.


    The crowd looked over in the direction of the sound and they saw that the City Lord Mansion’s gate was being closed. Fearless stood in the distance with his whole group of reinforcements.

    There was a sudden inner scream in their hearts the moment these Assassins saw Fearless. They wanted to turn around and run away as fast as possible.

    Under Fearless’smand, Crotch Lord raised his shield and rushed over to the gate towards Sanguine Warg. He held up his middle finger and roared, “B*stard!!”.


    The Assassins from Assassin Monarch and Sanguine Warg were all taunted towards Crotch Lord.

    At this juncture, the guards that were patrolling the area were alerted to the situation. They quickly surrounded the source of themotion.


    Although these guards were extremely formidable, they were not exactly useful without the City Lord’smand. They did not interfere in any conflicts or harm another yer unless it was a serious and discriminate offence.


    After all, levelling was too difficult in the game. If a yer was killed because he simply had spit into the City Lord Mansion, it would be too outrageous of a consequence.


    Under the domineering strength of these guards, no yer could match against them. With a slight sneered, the guards dispelled Crotch Lord’s taunt and the yers all dropped to the ground.


    Crotch Lord escaped any sort of retaliation because he had already preemptively left the guards attack range.


    While these Assassins were temporarily restrained, Scarless and the other Assassins made their way into the City Lord Mansion.


    “Brother Spring! Close the gate!!”


    When the entirety of Assassin Monarch had entered the City Lord Mansion, Fearless smiled devilishly as he instructed Spring Halo. With a wave of his staff, he cast the [Invulnerable] buff on Sanguine Warg.


    Spring Halo was previously hiding in the corner before he heard themand that jolted him into action. He immediately cast his [Dark Barrier] which trapped the yers from Assassin Monarch into a circr prison before they even had any realisation of what was happening.


    Scarless was a martial artist so her reflexes were much faster than others. She had already sensed that something was amiss and she instinctively took a step backwards which allowed her to narrowly avoid the entrapment of [Dark Barrier].


    Southern Heaven Mighty God was not as skilled as Fearless and he was rooted to the ground by Spring Halo’s skill!


    “No fighting within the City Lord Mansion!!”


    After casting the AOE skill, Spring Halo also jumped out of the perimeters of the residence. The guards once again harrumphed and broke through [Dark Barrier]. As a result, the Assassins from Assassin Monarch were also restrained on the ground.


    Sanguine Warg finally understood the motive behind Fearless’s n to lure the yers from Assassin Monarch into the City Lord Mansion.


    The main purpose was to force them to take out their City Lord Seal. If these Assassins genuinely wanted to disappear off the face of the map, not even Wang Yu could do anything to them.


    Without first restraining these Assassins, there was no possible way to retrieve the Seal back from them. Furthermore, since the City Lord Seal was an iparably valuable item, it naturally had a low drop rate. There was no guarantee of it dropping even if one had a terrifying item steal ability...

    Following Fearless’s order, Boson, Little Chicky and Frost de who was hiding outside the residence made their move. Crotch Lord and Spring Halo hurriedly over to tighten the encirclement.

    Spring Halo also conjured a poisonous fog that enveloped Scarless.

    Scarless focused as she flipped backwards rapidly to dodge Vainglory’s fist.


    Vainglory’s fist did not hit his intended target as he wobbled slightly. Scarless quickly counterattacked using her the dagger in her right hand. She extended her range using a rope attached to a dagger and shed it against Vainglory.

    Vainglory’s HP fell by more than half in that single exchange.


    Immediately afterwards, Scarless viciously pulled the dagger that was lodged in Vainglory’s neck out.

    “Not bad! You can resist my attacks!” Scarless furrowed her brows as she once again sent her dagger surging towards Vainglory.


    At this juncture, Crotch Lord moved in front of Vainglory and blocked the iing projectile.

    With a soft thud, Scarless’s dagger bounced off his shield harmlessly.

    Without missing a beat, arge thunderbolt descended from the sky towards Scarless.
