Chapter 1385: The Serious ck Dragon King

“Suicide?”
Upon hearing Fearless’ idea, Sanguine Warg was momentarily stunned.
The other Sanguine Alliance yers stranded outside of the city could neither retreat or advance. The only way for them to get out of this predicament was to kill their way into the city.
However, Lava Teeth had led his men to seal off the city gates. Thus, it wasn’t an easy task for them to do so.
Despite so, all of the Sanguine Alliance yers were registered citizens of Saga City. If they died, they would resurrect within it.
Previously, Sanguine Warg and the rest were too focused on running that they had actually forgotten such a trick.
It couldn’t be helped. Even though the drop in EXP was little frommitting suicide, a drop in EXP was still a drop in EXP. If they could break through from the front and enter the city, none of the yers would ever consider such a method to escape their current predicament.
Perhaps only someone like Fearless, who saw other yers as tools instead of humans, would be able to casually think of such an idea.
Sanguine Asura by the side rejected the idea and retorted, “Isn’t that the same as dying? What’s the difference between that and aplete wipeout!?”
“It’s different!”
Fearless raised one of his brows, before coolly saying, “Without destruction, there can never be construction. After destruction, only can there be construction! You are already an adult, yet you can’t understand the difference between taking the initiative and following others?”
Counter-attacking after death was a strategy that required technicality.
For the ck Dragon Guild to be able to think of their ambush and pincer stratagems, they would naturally not overlook the fact that once the Sanguine Alliance yers died, they would resurrect within the city.
Given the number of yers the ck Dragon Guild had, they were naturally able to contain the number of deaths of the Sanguine Alliance yers to their desired level.
This way, even if the Sanguine Alliance yers were to resurrect within the city walls, their numbers would be contained and wouldn’t have much significant impact on the overall tide of the battle.
Therefore, after all of the Sanguine Alliance yers had returned to the city, they would be able to take control of the battle once more. Not only would it result in the reinforcements from the ck Dragon Guild to fail to pincer their target, but Sanguine Alliance would also be able to re-organise their formation and prepare for a counter-attack.
This, was the difference between active and passive fighting.
Furthermore, there was a psychological difference between being killed by someone andmitting suicide. The cause of death would greatly affect the morale of the yer.
Upon hearing what Fearless said, Sanguine Asura revealed a look of confusion. No one knew if he understood what Fearless was conveying.
Of course, Fearless did not hope that this brat would be able to understand what he was saying. As long as Sanguine Warg wasn’t that stupid, it was fine.
As they were speaking, Sanguine Stormbringer had already brought the Sanguine Alliance yers to reinforce the defenses at the city wall. At this moment, Sanguine Stormbringer, who was atop the walls, happened to see the reinforcement troops from the ck Dragon Guild charging towards Saga City a short distance away from the Sanguine Alliance yers outside of the city walls.
As per what Fearless said, the size of the reinforcement troops from ck Dragon Guild was terrifying. It seemed as though there was a sea of ck masses making their way towards the city, seemingly as if ck Dragon Guild had enveloped the area surrounding Saga City.
Upon receiving the news from Sanguine Stormbringer, Sanguine Warg gave the order for the Sanguine Alliance yers tomit suicide without hesitation.
Upon hearing their Guild Leader’s order, the reaction from the Sanguine Alliance yers was the same as Sanguine Asura. They did not understand the rationale behind Sanguine Warg’s order. What wasforting, however, was the fact that under different circumstances, people’s mindset would be different.
Sanguine Asura was merely questioning the way everyone should die while all the other yers outside started weighing the pros and cons.
Currently, the reinforcement troops from the ck Dragon Guild were drawing closer towards them. Upon realising that they would still die either way, the Sanguine Alliance yers naturally chose tomit suicide, saving their face a little.
Furthermore, this was an order given by their Boss. There was no point in surviving for a few more minutes to bebelled as an underling that did not obey orders.
Thinking up till this point, under the shocked eyes of the ck Dragon Guild yers, the Sanguine Alliance yers, outside of the city walls, all simultaneously raised their weapons and drew a horizontal line across their necks... wu, there’s no need for everyone to wonder how the Magicians could use their staffs to slit their own throats. It was a gesture for the yers tomit suicide under the game’s system, and not the author’s fault. Let’s focus our attention back on the battlefield.
The sight of tens of thousands of yersmitting suicide at the same time was extremely spectacr.
“Swoosh!”
Countless of white lights gathered and rose up into the air, almost causing the dog eyes of the ck Dragon Guild yers to be blind. Even the ck Dragon Guild yers suspected that this move by Sanguine Alliance was meant to blind them to death.
“...”
Upon seeing the empty and sparsend in front of them, it seemed as though the Sanguine Alliance yers were never there to begin with. The sea of ck Dragon Guild yers that were valiantly charging over previously, seemed to have lost their meaning in life all of a sudden.
At this moment, Dragon de and Lava Teeth simultaneously sent a message to ck Dragon King, saying, “Boss, all of the Sanguine Alliance yersmitted suicide!”
“Committed suicide!!”
Upon receiving this news, ck Dragon King’s face violently contracted. After pondering over the situation for a moment, a strange smile crept up on his face as he sincerely praised out loud, “Good, good good, no wonder they are one of the top guilds in China. They really do live up to their reputation!”
Dragon Tooth, who was standing by his side, eximed in shock, “To think that the Sanguine Alliance yers would be willing tomit suicide just to return back to their city! It’s too terrifying!”
It was so difficult for everyone to raise their levels in this stage of the game. Unless it was necessary, there would be no yer willing to die and lose their EXP. For all of the Sanguine Alliance yers to do so without any hesitation was simply too terrifying.
After all, if they were so ruthless with themselves, how ruthless would they be to their enemy then?
“Haha!”
ck Dragon King coolly smiled and said, “Initially, I had wanted to win this battle with the least amount of casualties, but it seemed like I have underestimated this group of youngsters, they have actually forced me to take them seriously! Since that’s the case, let’s go all out and attack the city!”
As he was speaking, ck Dragon King gave the order in the guild chat for them to go all out and attack Saga City.
That’s right, this was the stupidest move, and yet, it was ck Dragon King’s killer move.
Since ancient times, attacking and defending a city was ultimately a battle of resources.
In reality, it was food and water. In games, it was the durability of the equipment and medicine avable to sustain the yers.
Before Sanguine Alliance had the chance to settle themselves down in Saga City, they were called to war by ck Dragon Guild. Even if they had brought a significant amount of supplies when they came over, it was still limited.
Furthermore, Immortal Ind and Brave Continent were separated by the vast seas. Even if there was a boat, by the time reinforcements arrived from the Brave Continent, Sanguine Alliance would have more or less met its doom. Being isted without any support was Sanguine Alliance biggest disadvantage in this war.
ck Dragon Guild, on the other hand, upied three inds and five cities on Immortal Ind. They had an abundant amount of supplies and the number of their yers were even more shocking. If they were to fight to the death with Sanguine Alliance, whether the members of Sanguine Alliance could go back home alive to tell the tale would be up to the heavens.
Of course, there was only one oue at the end of this battle. It would be when Sanguine Alliance ran out of supplies and the city no longer had any more resources to sustain itself.
“Just for a single Saga City? Is it worth it?”
Dragon Tooth expressed his confusion with regards to ck Dragon King’s decision.
Saga City, had all along been the poorest city controlled by ck Dragon Guild. Apart from the low ie that they received from the city, as the City Lord Seal wasn’t held by a yer, they weren’t even able to collect taxes...
Rallying such arge force and risking everything just to take down such a broken city was truly illogical.
“Worth it!”
ck Dragon King coolly said, “One should not be too short-sighted, and only see the short term gains in front of you. Once the shipping route opens, Saga City will be the city with thergest water traffic. Another thing is that...”
Speaking up till this point, ck Dragon King paused for a moment, as an imposing aura emitted from his body.
Following which, ck Dragon King continued, “I want to let everyone know who calls the shots around here!”
