    “Sigh...” Jiang Fei dropped his hammer again. Hope was all but lost from his face. Even though he had imed to have left it all to luck, this still struck him hard. When he was finished, he had thought of using thest three minutes to craft two more swords. He had that strong urge to do so, but as a man, he had could not go back on his words... Not when Isabe had heard him said it.


    “What luck!” Jiang Fei cried as he picked up thest sword and threw it out of the mold.


    “Ping!”


    When the sword struck the floor, a slightly higher-pitched, metallic sound was heard. There was even a small fracture on the sword. It was tiny, but it was leaking a golden light.


    “Huh!?” Jiang Fei heart sank for a moment.


    He immediately picked up the sword and started to continue tapping the sword gently.


    Crack... Crack...


    Slowly but surely, the grayish, outeryer of the sword chipped off, and when the kes fell off the sword, a golden light filled the inside of the workshop.


    “Did I make it?! Sess!?” Jiang Fei cried nervously. How unexpected! A very fortunate sudden turn of events!


    “Verdure Glider! You’ve done it! Congrattions!” cried Isabe as she cupped her tear-stained cheeks. With fresh tears of joy, she leaped towards Jiang Fei and hugged him tightly.


    “I did it! I DID IT! OH YEAH!” Jiang Fei screamed with joy. With the sudden rush of happiness, Jiang Fei grabbed hold of Isabe and nted a kiss on her forehead!


    “Ah!” Isabe squeaked, but she did not push him away. Instead, she hugged Jiang Fei tighter and buried her face into Jiang Fei’s chest.


    “I’ve done it! I am now a true Divine cksmith!” Jiang Fei cheered as he saw the quest condition being fulfilled, just when the timer stopped.


    Sadly, the man was so engrossed into his achievement that hepletely forgot that Isabe was currently embracing him...

    Note: Piercing Strike’s Piercing effect will be hindered by a Barrier effect on a target, but it will ignore the Barrier to directly deal damage to the target.


    “Awesome! A Mage killer!” cried Jiang Fei when he saw just how powerful the sword’s skill was.


    The skill, Piercing Strike was particrly effective against a magician ss yer. It would be possible to instantly kill an average yer with average equipment and levels.


    Magician ss had very little health points, to begin with. Most of the time, they would depend heavily on Magical Shields to protect themselves. However, since the attack ignored the barrier altogether, anyone who wielded this sword would be the bane of all magicians!


    Even though the equipment had good attributes and even higher levels, the yer would only need to time their attack ordingly to instant-kill any magician. By activating the Piercing Strike at the fourth attack would trigger the additional attack, dealing almost double damage!


    In summary, anyone who held this sword had the definitive high ground against magicians!


    “Oh man. I really hope that I get to keep this when I submit the quest!” said Jiang Fei to himself. Even so, there was nothing he could do if Ou Yezi took the sword to seal the deal.


    “Let’s go, Be!” said Jiang Fei, as he patted Isabe on the head, even as she held on tightly to him.


    “Em!” said Isabe with a smile so bright that anyone would have instantly fallen in love with this girl. Not Jiang Fei obviously.


    Aftering out of the workshop with a smile on his face, Jiang Fei contacted one of the members of the Aristocrats.


    “I’m done for the day. You guys can fall back now. I’ll contact Happy Drunk to deliver the swordster!”


    The guys of the Aristocrats had it rough as well, having stood guard outside the workshop for four hours straight.


    “Very well, brother Glider. Do contact any of us if you need any assistance!” said one of the captains as he took his leave.


    Jiang Fei was a little too tired to walk, and decided to summon the dragon. When he arrived at the dpidated, filthy, and disgusting workshop where Ou Yezi was, the old man was seen gulping down a bottle of booze. His hands were oily and dirty, yet again.


    “Master! I’ve sessfully crafted the sword!” said Jiang Fei as he handed the Supreme Rainbow de over to Ou Yezi.


    “Hmm... This is good! This is far better than what I had expected! Not bad! Even when I was at your age, I could never have crafted such a fine weapon!” said Ou Yezu, amazed.


    “Ding! The Test for the Divine cksmith has beenpleted!”


    “Ding! ss Update! Current ss: Beginner Divine cksmith!”


    “Ding! You have forgotten the skill: Ice Burst!”


    “Ding! You have gained the skill: Instant Ice Burst!”


    “Ding! You have gained the skill: Rose Cutter!”


    “Ding! You have gained the skill: Divine cksmith’s Speciality (Permanent)!”


    After a chain of notifications, Jiang Fei was now officially a Beginner Divine cksmith. The sess rate seemed to have been jacked up even further. On the other hand, the equipment Ascension rate had been reced by a newly obtained skill, called the Divine cksmith’s Speciality!


    Divine cksmith’s Speciality: Grants a chance to increase an equipment’s tier to by 1 or 2 tiers during upon usage of Instant Ice Burst or Rose Cutter during finishing of a craft. A precise timing of Instant Ice Burst or Rose Cutter would increase the sess rate.


    “Woah!” Jiang Fei eximed. Instead of relying on chances, the skill had granted him the ability to will the Ascension of an equipment! Even though he knew that he might be bad at controlling the timing, but with practice, he could soon craft Legendary tier equipment with ease!


    Besides the overpowered Divine cksmith’s Speciality, he had also gained a skill upgrade.


    Instant Ice Burst: Releases a burst of ultra-cooled air to the front. Deals 20% of your maximum health points as damage, if the skill is used in battle. Freezes targets for 3 seconds. Decreases movement speed after thawing for 50%. Lasts for 5 seconds. 1-minute cooldown.


    Rose Cutter: Utilizes intricate carving skills to increase essory tier during crafting. Inflicts Bleeding effect if skill is used in battle. Deals 2% of your maximum health points as damage per second for 30 seconds. 1-minute cooldown.


    “NICE!”


    Jiang Fei was highly satisfied with the two new active skills. At longst, he could finally do something!
