    The NPC was not having a good time, neither was Jiang Fei. He had identally gotten himself involved in an uneptable quest and could never gain anything from it.


    The one who was the mini boss had a name different than the other two men beside him. Jiang Fei read his properties easily with the ring’s ability. His name was Garden Guard Vice-Captain. He was just a guard who guarded a garden. And a vice-captain at that. Even if Jiang Fei acted up again, the guy would most likely drop a few coins and run. There was no need for him to waste his effort on him.


    “Just get lost!” Jiang Fei eximed before he too turned around. Jiang Fei would have killed everyone then if they were not from Twilight City. Killing them would not gain him any experience points or a single dime. Why waste his time?


    “Thank you!” said the Vice-Captain before he ran away with the two other men, not giving any f*ck to the man he was beating up earlier.


    “Let’s go,” said Jiang Fei as patted Isabe’s shoulder and left.


    “Please wait!” said the man who was on the brink of death.

    Jiang Fei nced at the man and noted that he was a neutral character. The problem was that Jiang Fei had no interest in him. It was obvious that the man was a trigger point to activate a quest. If Jiang Fei was a yer from Twilight City, after rescuing the prisoner, he would ept a quest and be granted a reward. But Jiang Fei was not a yer from Twilight City to begin with. Even though the quest could be triggered, Jiang Fei would be wasting his time since Jiang Fei could not ept it. Even if he finished the quest, Jiang Fei would not be able to receive the reward.


    “Don’t disturb me!” said Jiang Fei as he quickly moved further away from the man.


    “My lord! Don’t you know that you will be hunted by the Light Faction with that map on you?” said the man as he stood up.


    “What?” Jiang Fei was stunned. He had forgotten to put the map into the ring’s inventory to prevent anyone from detecting the map. Seemed like the man had detected the item in his inventory.


    “My lord, if people from the Luminous Church discovered the map in your possession, what do you think they would do?” asked the man as he moved closer to Jiang Fei. Even though he was severely wounded, he stared at Jiang Fei, unfazed.


    “Are you threatening me?” Jiang Fei drew out his hammer and was about to kill this foolish maen. His eyes glowed red, an indication that Jiang Fei was a Demon. In normal circumstances, Jiang Fei would have no different attributes whenpared to a human. However, once Jiang Fei got into battle mode or automatic trigger, his eyes would glow red. This was merely a cosmetic effect that would not affect his overall stat.


    “Y-You are a Demon!” said the prisoner when he saw the blood red eyes of Jiang Fei.


    “Little prick! Looks like you know too much to stay alive!” said Jiang Fei as murderous aura came pouring out. It was Jiang Fei who was on high ground, threatening others. He would never allow some NPC to juste out of nowhere and threaten to expose him to the Light Faction or also known as the Luminous Church. At this point, even if he was his uncle or his aunt, Jiang Fei would bash his head in.


    “Hold on!” said the man when Jiang Fei was about to leap forward. Isabe had already casted Demon me Infusion that made her hands burn with the ck mes of hell.


    “Demon me Infusion! That’s... Are you of Royal blood?!” asked the man when he saw the ck mes in Isabe’s hands.


    “Puny mortal, you do know about my mes!” said Isabe as she concentrated more mes in her hands. On Jiang Fei signal, she would immediately w the prisoner and send him to theherworld!


    “My lords, please wait!” said the prisoner as he held his hands up to surrender. In that instant, he summoned a dark power around him and morphed. Horns grew out of his forehead and his skin turned darker. His horns and feet were that of a goat. That was the end of the transformation. Jiang Fei had even expected a pair of wings toe out from his back.

    “Oh my...”


    Jiang Fei was a little surprised when he saw the changes in the man. He had changed from being a human to a Satyr, a lower ranking Demon race. At this point, since Isabe was a royalty in the Nephilim race, she would definitely ask questions.


    “My lord! This is not a good ce to discuss important matters. Please, let us move to a more discreet location!” said the Satyr after saluting both Jiang Fei and Isabe. He then led the two toward a small forest that was close by.


    If Jiang Fei was a yer from Twilight City, this spy might have given him a quest in his human form. Now that he had met Jiang Fei, a race of Nephilim, he had revealed his true form. However, they had to move somewhere else since they were all on the grounds of the Luminous Church.


    It was established that the four main city were governed by the Light and Dark Faction, they had their rules andws to obey. No nobility from the four main races was allowed to set foot in the four main cities. No one from the God and Nephilim races was allowed in any of the cities. Hence, when someone from the Nephilim race appeared near a city, the Light Faction would surely send someone to attack them.


    “My lord, may I know who you are?” asked the Satyr, since identity was far too important. He had to make sure that he did not reveal the important secret he had to the wrong party.


    “This here is Princess Isabe. I am but her loyal bodyguard.”


    Jiang Fei had purposely moved Isabe into the spotlight. Even though she was merely his pet, in the realm of the NPCs, she was still a Princess of the Nephilim race. How could a lowly adventurer like him be owning a princess as a pet?! Not only the Luminous Church would hunt him down, the Nephilim race would personally send every man they had to find and destroy Jiang Fei.


    As such, Jiang Fei would be Isabe’s personal guard for now since the two had never cared about their positions. No one wouldin if one stood in front of the other.


    “It’s the princess! Congrattions for being reborn!” said the Satyr without hesitation. It was probably because of the ck mes that she had disyed earlier. It was the only proof he needed.


    “Tell me everything you know,” ordered Isabe.
