    “We are invited to the Emperor’s pce?” Asked Jiang Fei to confirm what Ariel had just said. The question waspletely redundant since he had nothing to do at the moment. Might as well ept the invitation.


    “Yes! Only if you have nothing else better to do,” said Ariel.


    “Sure! Let’s go!” said Jiang Fei happily. Naturally, Isabe had nothing against it. The only thing that would benefit the Nephilim race was that the Merfolk supported them.


    “My dear, this is for you!” said Ariel as she handed a small gem to Jiang Fei.


    Water Gem (Special Tool, Fine)


    Effect: Grants the ability to breathe underwater.


    Note: Effect will be active even if ced in the yer’s inventory.


    It was a blue, water colored gem that provided only one effect. Although the item quality was only Fine, it was incredibly useful to Jiang Fei. The Ocean Emperor’s Pce was not part of King Elric’s territory and it was underwater. Without the ability to breath underwater, Jiang Fei would need to return to the Fishmen ind and farm for the Underwater Breathing Potion!


    After Jiang Fei kept the gem inside his inventory, Ariel teleported herself back home in the Eastern Sea. After that, a system message popped up.


    “Ding! Ariel is summoning you to her side, do you wish to ept?”


    “Yes,” Jiang Fei eximed and was teleported to where Ariel was.


    “Wow. So this is the underwater realm!” Isabe cried out. Isabe was technically part of Jiang Fei. Hence, she was able to benefit from the underwater breathing effect from Jiang Fei.


    “Wee to my home! Dear, Sister Be, what do you think about my home? Isn’t it beautiful!” cried Ariel happily.


    “It’s so beautiful!”


    Technically, it was King Elric’s pce.


    The pce was built up using seastones with decoration made using natural growing corals and living creatures.


    The trio walked into the pce, weed by all of the guards. Excited, Ariel dragged Jiang Fei and Isabe into her own private chambers. Jiang Fei did not know what to think when he saw everything inside the room was pink. Everything was literally pink besides a few stones and other building structure that was painted over. Ariel was shy as it was the first time she had let any man enter her room.


    “It’s nice,” said Jiang Fei. He was not good with praising a girl.


    “Don’t mind the airhead! I think its fabulous!” said Isabe as she knocked Jiang Fei’s head and went to Ariel to y around in the room.


    All of them did not stay for long as their main objective was to visit the Emperor’s Pce. Hence, after ying around for only a little moment, Jiang Fei headed out to greet King Elric before he dragged Ariel and Isabe out of the room. After bidding farewell with King Elric, the trio used the Teleportation Circle in the pce and teleported to the Endless Seas.


    All three of them stepped out of the circle and arrived straight at the entrance of the Emperor’s Pce.


    “Woah. Now this is what I call a Pce!” Jiang Fei eximed. The walls, the pirs, the ceilings, and almost everything else was made of a special ss that glowed and shimmered with beautiful light. There were even carvings of mermaids on the top of the pce.


    “Let’s not let the Emperor wait for us,” said Ariel. Both Jiang Fei and Isabe werepletely mesmerized by the pce that they just stood there, admiring it for a little too long.


    “Ah... Alright,” said Jiang Fei as he walked up the steps and into the pce.


    There were many high-level Seafolk guardians standing guard everywhere in the pce. Most of them were at least Level 80 Leader tier bosses. Perhaps it was sufficed to say that the Emperor’s prowess was much greater than the Nephilim King Augustus.


    With the Royal Decree in hand, Ariel, Jiang Fei, and Isabe were able to go through all the guards smoothly.


    “Please wait here,” said the final guard who was guarding the Emperor’s hall.


    “My dear, you need to mind your manners when you talk to the Emperor of the Sea,” said Ariel.


    “Hmm?”


    Jiang Fei felt weird, wondering why Ariel would say something like that.


    “Hehehe. You’ll see it for yourself,” said Ariel, giggling as she refused to tell the reason.


    “That’s correct. You need to behave yourself if you want the Emperor to like you! More importantly, we need to leave a good first impression so the Merfolk could align with the Nephilim! If you do that, I will forget about everything that happened in the Snow Mountain.


    “Alright! Alright! I’ll behave!” said Jiang Fei.


    In no time at all, the guard returned from the hall.


    “The Emperor has invited you to enter,” said the guard that took the form of a Tiger Shark.


    Before he entered the hall, his tone was unfriendly and stern. After returning, his tone changedpletely. When he addressed Jiang Fei, he was talking in a tone as if he was talking to the Emperor himself.


    “Thank you,” said Jiang Fei as he entered the hall with confidence. Isabell and Ariel stood beside him and walked slightly behind to show his position as the stronger one.


    Sitting on the throne made of gold and precious jewels was a huge middle-aged merman. Even though he was older, he remained good looking as his muscle was honed to perfection as they were strong. With the king’s crown resting on the man’s golden hair and a golden trident in his hand, the merman was the Emperor of the Ocean.


    Emperor Poseidon (Merfolk, Lesser Celestial)

    Note: The true leader and ruler of the Merfolk. Master of all the Endless Seas.


    Poseidon was the same as Augustus; both of them were Celestial tier boss. Due to the level of Reputation he had with the Merfolk, he was not allowed to see his battle rted attribute.


    “Emperor of the Ocean and the ruler of the Endless Seas. I am honored to receive your invitation to the pce,” said Jiang Fei as he kneeled on one knee. Even though he had reached Admire level of Reputation, Jiang Fei would still need to show the Emperor a form of respect.


    “Thank you for epting the invitation. I can see why you are strong as you are revered. I expect nothing less than the man’s disciple,” said Poseidon as he nodded his head.


    “It is a pleasure to finally see your highness is well and healthy!” said Isabe as she greeted the Emperor.


    “Ah. Little Isabe. How is your father?” Asked the Emperor courteously. Even though the Merfolk and the Nephilim were neither allies nor enemies, the Emperor and the Nephilim King were still simr as they were strong.


    “Thank you for your concern. My father is doing well, thanks to you!” said Isabe perfectly. She was the Princess of the Royal Nephilim. Speaking to another king was nothing but breathing air for her.


    “Little one, you have done well in the rescue of King Elric during the attack of the Naga. I represent all of the Merfolk to thank you,” said the Emperor.


    King Elric was almost killed during the Naga attack. In fact, almost all of the Eastern Seas had been taken over by the Naga in one swift attack. Without Jiang Fei’s intervention, King Elric might have perished and the Eastern Sea would be lost to the Naga. Once they had taken the Eastern Sea, it would be extremely difficult to reim what was lost.


    On the other hand, Jiang Fei had defeated their strongest fighter, leaving them in the dark without a proper leader. Not only did they lose the war, but the Eastern Seas had alsopletely fallen into the hands of the Merfolk. It would be close to impossible for the Nagas to rise up again.
