    “Ahh!” As Isabe shouted in surprise, the Zhanlu Sword stopped just one millimeter away from Jiang Fei’s scalp.

    Jiang Fei could feel sweat all over his face. He was definitely afraid at that moment. If Isae had awakened just one fraction of a secondter, and if the Zhanlu Sword had even scraped a bit of Jiang Fei’s scalp, the Valium from the sword would have taken his life.


    “Let go of it now!” Although Jiang Fei had barely survived, and his heart was still pounding, he was more worried about Isabe. After all, she was holding the Godde’s body with her bare hands.

The energy then flowed through her arm before being absorbed, forming a cycle of sorts.


    “Captain, you’d better not let Be release the Zhanlu Sword or she might die!” 0542 suddenly said.


    “0542, what is going on?” After hearing that, he immediately started to panic. He could not imagine himself losing Isabe again. Moreover, this was the real world. If she died, she would not be able to revive again.


    “It’s very difficult to exin. I need to first scan Be’s condition before forming an analysis.” 0542 said.


    “Alright! Scan her now!” Jiang Fei did not want to dy anything as it was rted to Isabe’s safety. After all, the Godde was not a normal weapon.


    Just as 0542 began scanning Isabe, her eyes started glowing in a bright red color. A frightening aura began to emit from her body once again.


    However, the aura seemed toe and go very quickly. Within a second, her eyes returned to normalcy.


    “0542, form the analysis right away!” Jiang Fei urged. Although he did not know what was happening to Isabe’s body, he was certain that it was nothing good.


    “Captain, you’d better ask Be what happened. The more information I get, the more urate the analysis.” 0542 told Jiang Fei as it scanned Isabe’s body.


    “Alright!” Jiang Fei nodded. He then turned to face the awakened Isabe. “Be, what happened? Why are you holding the sword’s body?”


    “I’m sorry, husband. I may not be able to apany you anymore...” Isabe exined everything to Jiang Fei while tears welled up in her eyes.


    ording to Isabe, she was distracted when Ariel had asked her for help. In the end, she was assaulted from behind, causing her to spit out a mouthful of blood on the Zhanlu Sword.


    The Valium instantly reacted with her blood which was full of energy. An uncontroble energy formed from the reaction and swiftly entered her body.


    Almost immediately, Isabe felt as if her body had been infected by the energy. It was almost like she was attacked by the Godde. When that happened, her body instinctively began to use the Power of Conqueror to suppress the wild energy.


    However, something unexpected happened. The Godde’s power actually reacted with the Power of Conqueror. Although it was still very vtile, it no longer destroyed her body. In fact, she could even direct the power to a certain extent. As such, she was able to use Godde’s power through her eyes.


    Jiang Fei had already heard about Isabe’s control over the Power of Conqueror. She had exined that it was some sort of an engulfing and transmutation ability which was simr to the Nephilim race’s powers in the game. That was the core of Isabe’s understanding within the Nephilim race which she had acquired during her time in the endless space of void.


    That ability was what allowed her to survive the Valium’s corrosion. In fact, she was able to kill Level 5 experts with ease.


    At the same time when Isabe had acquired this ability, she also urgently wanted to help Jiang Fei out. Therefore, in order to end the battle quickly, she used her bare hands to hold the sword’s body so that more blood would flow towards the sword. As such, she would obtain even greater powers.


    With this power, she was able to kill two Level 5 experts with ease and rush over to save Jiang Fei. However, by then, she had already lost her rationality. She only held a single thought which was to kill all Level 5 experts around Jiang Fei as that was the only way she could keep him safe. If not for Jiang Fei’s act of blocking her attack with his own body, Isabe would probably not have recovered her consciousness so quickly.


    Although Isabe had acquired the ability to kill Level 5 experts with ease, she clearly did not benefit from it entirely.


    Very soon, 0542 produced results of the analysis.


    “Captain, I have identified Be’s conditions...” 0542 began to exin.


    Right then, Isabe was indeed in a precarious situation. Although she could still live on, she was in a very unstable state.


    Firstly, the wild energy in her body was continuously corroding her mind. Although Isabe could still remain conscious for now, there was a possibility that she could lose her sanity anytime.
