After the map of the Celestial Realm had been unlocked, the yers who had satisfied the minimum requirements were able to ept the quests. Although leaving the Faction Region would result in a loss of Experience points upon death, the yers were far too bored in the Faction Region maps. Now that a new map had been unlocked, yers were curious to have a look even if they could potentially die there.
“Little Fei,e over here for a minute!” Just as Jiang Fei was nning to check the map out with Seven Stars Warrior and the rest, Ou Yezi called him over.
“Go ahead, you guys. I’lle by in a while,” Jiang Fei said before walking over to Ou Yezi.
“Teacher, is there something you’d like to speak to me about?” Jiang Fei asked curiously.
“Yeah. It’s about the counterattack against the Celestial Realm. As the Adventurers will be the main military force, I hope that you can take the lead to regroup them,” Ou Yezi said with a serious expression on his face.
The High Human’s Heavenly Court was no longer as strong as it was in the past. Since the death of King Zhou of Shang, the powers of the High Human’s Heavenly Court had been reduced significantly. Now, they were definitely incapable of fighting against the Ancient Gods on their own. There were two factors that influenced Ou Yezi’s decision to counterattack the Celestial Realm.
Firstly, the teleportation point only worked in a single direction. Unless the yers died and revived, they would not be able to return to the Overworld. Although this put the yers at an inconvenience, it prevented the Ancient Gods from making their way into the Overworld after the yers were defeated.
From this point alone, the High Humans were basically undefeatable. If they won the battle, they would winpletely. Even if they lost, they would not have suffered too greatly.
Secondly, the yers had a very shocking growth rate. This was the main reason why Ou Yezi dared to initiate the counterattack. He hoped that the Adventurers would be strengthened through such battles so that they would one day be strong enough to fight against the Celestial race.
Due to these two factors, Ou Yezi had plotted the counterattack against the Celestial Realm. Simrly, Ou Yezi did not n to send any Celestial tier NPCs to the Celestial Realm to participate in the battles.
In other words, Ou Yezi wanted to rely on the Adventurers’ strength to fight against the Celestial Realm so that they would either win once and for all or lose without suffering too great a loss.
Although it might appear as if Ou Yezi and the High Human’s Heavenly Court were taking advantage of the yers, this was the journey that the yers enjoyed the most.
Why else did yers y games? Apart from fighting against other yers, they also wanted to level up, hunt for treasures, and fight against even stronger opponents. If everything werepleted by NPCs, why would the yers bother ying the game at all? They might as well have gone for a movie instead.
Now that Ou Yezi had given them this opportunity, the yers could enter the Ancient Celestial Realm. Although dying in the Celestial Realm would result in yers losing their Experience points and equipment, there were greater rewards associated with the higher risks. Most of the monsters were Overlords in the Celestial Realm, which meant the items they dropped would also be of a higher grade.
As such, yers would be able to obtain better equipment and Skill Books. With these items, they would be able to take on the challenge of progressing to the Overlord tier and unlock even higher levels until they are able to light up the Godly me. As this was exactly what the yers were working toward, Ou Yezi’s n definitely created a win-win scenario.
However, in order to prevent the yers from being wiped out as soon as they entered the Ancient Celestial Realm, Ou Yezi had made a lot of preparations in advance. For example, he had immediately sent thousands of Overlord NPCs through the teleportation point as soon as it was opened. Thereafter, a sacrificial altar was built and the Suppression Orb was sacrificed to ensure there was a rtively secure region for the yers. At the very least, the Celestial tier beings in this region would be limited to the Overlord tier.
As long as this sacrificial altar continued to exist, the Ancient Celestials would not have the courage to enter the region. After all, once they lose their Celestial tier abilities, they could easily be killed by therger number of yers. As ancient beings who had lived for centuries, they feared death more than anyone else.
Although the Ancient Celestials were unwilling to enter the Adventurers’ safety region, they would still send their small monsters to attack. Once the sacrificial altar was destroyed, they would be able to overpower the Adventurers.
Meanwhile, these small monsters that charged at the sacrificial altar would also be targets of the yers to level up and hunt treasures from. As time passed, there would be more yers achieving the Overlord tier and following in Jiang Fei’s footsteps in lighting up the Godly me.
Despite the extreme difficulty in advancing to the Celestial tier, there was arge number of yers. Sooner orter, some of them would make it to the Celestial tier. Once there were enough Celestial tier yers, they would be able to make it out of the safety region and fight against the Ancient Celestials directly.
This time around, Ou Yezi had asked Jiang Fei toe over so that he could take on the responsibility of managing the yers in the Celestial Realm. Ou Yezi hoped that Jiang Fei would be the militarymander in the fight against the Celestial Realm.
The main reason Ou Yezi had made this decision was because he did not n to send other Celestial tier NPCs into the Celestial Realm. As the teleportation only worked in a single direction, only yers could return to the Overworld after dying and respawning. However, for NPCs, it was a one-way journey and there was noing back.
Secondly, it was because of Jiang Fei’s capabilities. Now that Jiang Fei was already a pinnacle Lower Celestial, he at least held a respectable position in the High Human’s Heavenly Court despite not being undefeatable. Moreover, Jiang Fei was also the strongest person among the yers. Even if anothermander was selected, Jiang Fei might not be willing to follow his or her orders.
Thirdly, Jiang Fei was Ou Yezi’s disciple and was also the Heaven’s Trailzer. In a battle thatcked a leader, who else could possibly rece Jiang Fei?
Due to such considerations, Ou Yezi had decided that Jiang Fei would be in charge of all matters rted to the counterattack against the Celestial Realm.
“Thank you for your generosity, teacher!” Jiang Fei immediately epted the quest.
“Ding! You have obtained the permit as a Quest Initiator!” As a system notification was heard, Jiang Fei once again obtained the permit to initiate quests to yers. With this permit, Jiang Fei would be able to manage the yers more effectively.
Jiang Fei had also previously acquired the Trailzer’s Token which allowed him tomand the non-Celestial tier NPCs from the High Humans race. As such, Jiang Fei would be able to give orders to all yers and NPCs who had entered the Ancient Celestial Realm.
After bidding farewell to Ou Yezi, Jiang Feipleted the guided quest along with Seven Stars Warrior and the rest. Thereafter, everyone gradually entered the teleportation point.
As a white light shed, Jiang Fei once again returned to the Ancient Celestial Realm.
“Damn!” As soon as the teleportation waspleted, Jiang Fei felt a sinking feeling in his body which did not seem to affect the others. Thereafter, he noticed that various aspects of his Attributes had been weakened. At the same time, he had also lost his Celestial’s Authority.
Right then, arge number of soldiers from the High Human’s Heavenly Court had gathered at the entrance to the teleportation point. Most of these soldiers were low-ranking soldiers without much intelligence. They were only there to guard the base as well as the sacrificial altar.
“If only there was a way I could contact Miluya!” Jiang Fei thought as soon as he returned to the Celestial Realm.
Miluya was definitely the greatest secret in the game. Once her ultimate state was triggered, she was capable of killing any Celestial being. Therefore, if Jiang Fei could establish contact with her once again, he would have nothing to worry about as the High Humans’ militarymander.
