Xu Feng never expected his damage output to be high, which resulted in the mess now. It would have been fine if he was only causing excruciating pain to the Behemoth, but it was a whole different matter now that he had killed one.
Sure, the abundance of experience points gained was nice, but the aftermath of such might not be great.
With his summoned Abyssal Phantom being killed in a single strike earlier than expected, the Dark Pact was still in cooldown.
Additionally, his stamina was quite spent from the numerous actions. His mana was also running low from the number of heals and buff he cast for the Abyssal Phantom.
To be precise, Xu Feng was screwed.
His initial call for Carmen and Jeff was to attempt to get some reinforcement, but as he snuck a nce at their battle, it was almost over but not quite yet.
In other words, Xu Feng was now left to fend off a rageful Behemoth by himself— all alone with no assistance whatsoever.
"See youter," Xu Feng kindly waved his hand, hopping off the dead Behemoth. He wanted to flee from the scene, going back to the high ground that he had leaped from.
However, it was a pipe dream to believe the rageful Behemoth would let it go.
Without even bothering with whatever nonsense Xu Feng said earlier, it started firing numerous metal shards in Xu Feng''s direction. Following was its rapid increase of pace to close the distance between them.
''Damn it,'' Xu Feng cursed silently, deciding to tank most of the metal shards going in its path of retreat. He was sidestepping, which most might think was a dumb decision, but in reality, sidestepping would increase his chance of distancing rather than escaping in a straight line.
By sidestepping, it prevented the Behemoth from being able to charge straightforwardly at him. It would have to continuously alter its path, which decreased its speed slightly.
Despite using such a tactic, the agility between them wasughable when beingpared.
Within a few seconds, the Behemoth caught up to Xu Feng. One might think with its massive size, their agility should be minimal, but that was not the case.
Its speed was insanely fast, and Xu Feng knew he was going to receive a terrible strike from it. Sure enough, the Behemoth used Iron Swipe on him, inflicting a bleeding status effect.
Instantly, Xu Feng lost 1700 health along with an extra 200 from the bleeding effect.
''Damn, are there chances of inflicting a bleed status 100%?'' Xu Feng wondered silently, hurriedly healing himself.
"You have a debris spike on your back. Just how does it not immobilize you in any way?" He clicked his tongue while gaining a little distance thanks to receiving the strike, using it to propel him further away.
Xu Feng''s health was still around the 2000s mark, meaning one more strike and he would have died again.
Thankfully, Xu Feng was relieved of some of the pressure when he heard Carmen''s loud cheering excitement.
"Yes, we finally killed these two younglings."
"Mhmm, Lady Wraith is very impressive in the control of the Elementalists. The improvement is skyrocketing."
"Thanks for the praise, Jeff."

Hearing these twoughings and talking in joy while he was nearly in peril, Xu Feng wondered if those two had abandoned him. ''Hello? Your Healer is getting thrashed by a rageful Behemoth?''
"Oh no, Feng is getting chased." Carmen suddenly noticed the loudmotion from afar, and when her eyes spotted Xu Feng, she couldn''t help but let out a chuckle.
Throughout their interactions, Xu Feng had always beenposed and honestly, she felt he was somewhat cool.
However, now Xu Feng was injured, his clothes slightly tattered, most likely due to the durability having been decreased, and fleeing from a raging Behemoth, it wasical. She never expected there would be a day that she would witness him in such a terrible state.
Of course, the terrible state was an overstatement, but she found it quite perfect for someone of Xu Feng''s caliber.
"Let''s assist him," Jeff eximed, gripping his battle axe and rushing toward Xu Feng''s side.
With his keen sense, how could he not see Xu Feng single-handedly battling two adult Behemoths, and even sessfully killing one in the process. If Xu Feng hadn''t disyed such prowess, they would have been troubled in killing the two younglings.
"Hey, I''m not going to sit by either." Carmen pouted, instantly summoning two Elementalists to join in.
Shortly after the two joined in, Xu Feng was seemingly relieved of the pressure temporarily as the rageful adult Behemoth turned its attention to Jeff.
The battle axe that he held had the stench of its younglings'' blood, meaning that he was the culprit of their death.
It roared in a deafening sound, changing its trajectory from Xu Feng to Jeff.
"Heh, just perfect," Jeff sneered coldly, dly charging forward to confront the adult Behemoth head-on. Unlike Xu Feng, his defense attribute was high, and he could easily take on a full frontal assault with ease.
Additionally, Jeff had already noticed therge debris spiketched on its top, along with the somewhat sluggish movement. Such a clear indication showed that Xu Feng had weakened and injured it immensely.
His respect for Xu Feng at the same time increased gradually as Jeff swung his battle axe, stopping the rush of the adult Behemoth.
Following was a series of bombardments of spells hindering the adult Behemoth.
"Nice timing, Lady Wraith," Jeff yelled out, kicked the ground lightly, and used its momentum to leap high. His eyes narrowed at the open flesh wound, and with a tight grip, Jeff used Dominion Rend, sending a devastating strike at the open flesh.
SCREECH!
What followed was a loud screeching noise of pain as the adult Behemoth''s rage dissipated, copsing on the ground with barely any energy left.
At this moment, Xu Feng threw a me that didn''t look a bit intimidating, stealing the final hit.
"Well done, everyone." He subsequently praised, havingpleted the eradication of four Behemoths.
