<h4>Chapter 81 </h4>
Siegfried went back to the Hometown of Death.
“Please,e this way, Your Majesty,” a staffer directed him to the ce where artifacts were passed onto the customer once they were done.
“When will it be ready?” Siegfried asked.
“It has entered the final stages and will be finished soon. We will bring the artifact set to you if you give us a bit more time.”
“Faster, please…” Siegfried urged the staffer.
He didn’t want to rush them because crafting was a meticulous process, but he had no other choice.
‘<i>Every second counts right now. Please, hurry up…!’?</i>he thought. He didn’t have the luxury of remaining calm since Durian could attack any minute now.
He waited for quite a while in the waiting room.
<i>Tap… Tap… Tap…</i>
While Siegfried was tapping his finger on the table, the door connected to the workshop finally opened.
“I apologize for making you wait.”
The head of the Bavarian Workshop and the Hometown of Death, Quandt, appeared along with his top disciples.
“Is itplete?” Siegfried asked.
“Please, have a look for yourself,” Quandt said.
Afterward, his disciples carried over arge tray with the finished artifacts on top of it.
<i>Shwaaa…!</i>
The red-colored artifact set designed solely to fight against a Green Dragon let out steam as if it was announcing itspletion.
“This is the anti-Green Dragon artifact set?”
“Please take a look at the weapon first. This guy’s name is Stunner,” Quandt said. He extended a hammer emitting a reddish glow toward Siegfried.
The hammer had a pointed tip on one side and a t surface on the other, so it was possible to stab and smack the enemy at the same time.
[Stunner]
[A hammer with destructive capabilities.]
[It is an anti-dragon weapon made out of a mixture of steel and red dragon’s bone.]
[Type: Blunt Weapon (Hammer)]
[Rating: Unique]
[Attribute: Fire]
[Level Requirement: N/A]
[Attack Power: 1,100]
[Durability: 30/30]
[Effects: Dragon yer, Seal of Fire, Concussion Smash.]
[Dragon yer: Deal 7% more damage against dragon-type monsters.]
[Seal of Fire: Burn the enemy and suppress the recovery of the affected area.]
[Concussion Smash: Upon the seventh consecutive strike, the enemy will be stunned for 1.5 seconds.]
The weapon was truly an anti-dragon weapon. Its options were perfect against a dragon.
“You used a Red Dragon’s bone? That must have been an expensive material—” Siegfried started.
However, Quandt immediately interrupted him and said, “That’s right. With your level, you won’t be able to handle a full-fledged Dragonyer weapon. I mixed a Red Dragon’s bone with the steel to make it usable for you, so it’s not going to be as strong as a full-fledged Dragonyer weapon, but it will be more than enough to deal significant damage against a young Green Dragon.”
“Thank you very much,” Siegfried expressed his sincere gratitude to Quandt.
“Please, take a look at the armor set as well,” Quandt said.
“Alright,” Siegfried replied before he inspected the full te mail set made up of seven parts.
[Firebat Full te Armor]
[A full te armor designed as an anti-Green Dragon set.]

[Poison Resistance: +100 Resistance to poison.]
[Porcupine: Send long thorns out from the back.]
[methrower: The armor can spew mes.]
The stats of the armor set could only be described as perfect.
“Thank you very much once again. This will be more than enough,” Siegfried expressed his gratitude to Quandt once again.
It wasn’t as perfect as he wanted it to be, but this artifact set was probably the best artifact set Siegfried could use at his current level.
“It was pretty tough making it. We stayed up for three whole days to finish it,” Quandt said.
The eyes of his disciples, as well as his eyes, had huge dark circles underneath them, their hairs were disheveled and oily, and they reeked of sweat that hadn’t been washed off for a few days.
It was the price they had to pay to create such a powerful artifact set in just three days.
“Thank you very much for your hard work,” Siegfried said.
“<i>Ha!</i> What hard work? Rather than that, how is it? Have you seen what our Bavarian Workshop is capable of? The Hometown of Death is much greater than those Mercedes fools! <i>Haha!</i>” Quandt eximed.
“Of course,” Siegfried replied.
He had no idea if that really were the case, but for him, the Bavarian Workshop was the best workshop among the top three at this moment.
“But you have to be careful. We did imbue it with poison resistance, but it is impossible to withstand the Poison Breath of a Green Dragonpletely.”
“I will keep that in mind.”
“I heard you’re in a rush. Please, be on your way now.”
“Yes, I will pay you a visit againter,” Siegfried said as he stuffed the artifact set into his Inventory and departed from the Hometown of Death.

Just as Siegfried left the Hometown of Death...
<i>Thud!</i>
Dragon Rider Durian rode the Green Dragon under his control andnded on thewn in front of the lord’s hall. The officials of Proa and fifty beautifuldies had lined up to deceive him.
“A wise choice indeed,” Durian said with a satisfied smile as he hopped down from his dragon.
To give in to the terms and conditions of a barbarian would never be a wise choice, but it seemed like a wise choice to Durian, who was born and raised among the barbarians in a remote mountain vige. He seemed to have lost all sense of morality after taming the Green Dragon. It wasn’t a surprise that Durian thought that way. After all, he expected that being the ‘father of a dragon’ alone would make the mainders tremble in front of him and his mighty dragon.
“Yes, so you have decided to surrender,” Durian said with a grin.
“That is correct. <i>Oh,</i> father of dragons!” Oscar eximed. She pretended to surrender and knelt in front of Durian.
“Where is your king? Why is he not here to greet me?”
“That’s—”
<i>Shwiiiiik!</i>
Oscar was about to respond when an arrow flew toward Durian’s head. However, the chieftain of a barbarian tribe would never be an easy enemy to deal with, regardless of whether he had a dragon or not.
<i>Tak!</i>
Durian grabbed the arrow with hisrge hand.
“What is the meaning of this?” Durian asked, furious.
“Our king has no intention of surrendering to the likes of you, barbarians,” Oscar replied with a smirk.
“<i>Kehehehe!</i>”<i>?</i>Durian let out a sinisterugh before asking, “So, you dare to go against the ruler of the ins and the father of dragons?”
“Die, barbarian!” Oscar interrupted the barbarian’s words and pulled out her sword.
The entire Casein Castle became filled with noises when Oscar pulled her sword out.
“Evacuate! Hurry up and evacuate!”
“The officials and women should run away!”
“All forces! Prepare for battle!”
The battle against the barbarian and his dragon began...
***
One of the most basic strategies to hunt a dragon was a strategy called ‘Holding’.
A dragon had a monstrous physical ability as well as magic on top of being mobile thanks to its ability to fly. As such, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it would be impossible to fight it once it took flight.
A goodparison would probably be the picture of an infantry unit without anti-air capabilities being decimated by a fighter jet.
As a result, focusing all attacks on the dragon’s wings and preventing it from taking flight was probably the most important thing to do when it came to fighting a dragon.
“<i>Kwahaha!?</i>Alright! I’ll grant your wishes and send all of you to your deaths!” Durian eximed whileughing like a madman before hopping onto his dragon, “I will make you all regret the fact that you failed to stop me from mounting Smogger!”
Not being able to stop a dragon rider from mounting their dragon was as good as failing to stop the disaster that would happen soon afterward.
“Let’s go, Smogger! Fly! Let’s kill these bastards!” Durianmanded.
The Green Dragon spread its wings and prepared to fly.
And Durian had just made one of the most critical mistakes he could make.
<i>Shwaaaak!</i>
The sound of metal reverberated from somewhere, and a chain flew and wrapped around Smogger’s wing.
“What a strike!”
The chain was thrown by none other than Golem Maker Seung-Gu. He used the chain attached to his Range Wagon.
<i>Boom! Boom! Boom!</i>
Afterward, the four golems under Seung-Gu’smand clung to Smogger’s wing and prevented it from flying.
“Smogger! Fly up! I said hurry up and fly up!”
“<i>Gwuoooooh!</i>”
Smogger tried its best to fly up after Durian’s repeatedmands, but it couldn’t fly since one of its wings was bound.
“Archers! Prepare to fire!” Oscar shouted.
<i>Seuk… Seuk… Seuk…?</i>
The hidden elven archers pulled their bowstrings at the knight’smand.
<i>Shwiiiiiiiiiiiik!</i>
Nearly two hundred arrows flew in an arc and lodged themselves in the Green Dragon’s body. The reason the arrows were able to lodge themselves in Smogger’s body was that the elves aimed for the small crack in between the dragon’s scales.
“<i>Gwaaaaaaaaak!</i>”<i>?</i>Smogger cried in agony.
“…!”
Everyone involved in the dragon hunt was suddenly frozen stiff.
Dragon Fear.
It was a shockwave attack that carried the dragon’s mana.
“Smogger! Hurry up and open your wings!” Durian hurriedlymanded the dragon upon noticing that the enemies had stiffened from the Fear.
“<i>Grrr!</i>”<i>?</i>Smogger let out a growl as it spread its wings out once again.
<i>Shwiiik! Baaam!</i>
But before it could take flight, a hammer emitting a reddish glow flew while leaving a trail of fire. It smashed into the dragon’s head.
Siegfried van Proa had finally arrived.
***
“Elite forces, attack,” Siegfried ordered with a loudmanding voice.
“For Proa!”
“For Proa!”
“For Proa!”
The elite forces ran as soon as Siegfried gave hismand. They clung to the dragon’s body and started thrusting away with the gray swords in their hands.
“<i>Gwuooooooh!</i>”<i>?</i>Smogger cried out in agony.
Unfortunately, its misery had just started…
<i>Slurp…! Slurp…! Slurp…!?</i>
The excruciating pain that followed wasn’t because of the wounds it sustained after being injured by the elite forces’ swords. It was because of the magic imbued in the gray swords the elite forces were using.
[Vampiric Sword]
[A greedy magic sword that sucks the HP of its enemy.]
[Type: Sword (Longsword)]
[Rating: Unique]
[Attribute: N/A]
[Level Requirement: N/A]
[Attack Power: 50]
[Durability: 1/1 (Consumable)]
[Effect: Life Steal]
[Life Steal: Siphon the enemy’s HP and prevent recovery.]
The Vampiric Sword was one of the items Siegfried had asked Seung-Gu to prepare since it was an item that would surelye in handy against a dragon. After all, dragons were famous for possessing a ridiculous amount of HP.
The dragon’s HP didn’t recover after being stabbed by almost a hundred Vampiric Swords.
‘<i>Good. The groundwork isplete,’?</i>Siegfried thought as he tightly gripped the Stunner.
He kicked off of the ground and activated all of his debuff skills.
<i>Wooong!</i>
<i>Fwaaaa!</i>
He also activated all of his self-buff skills.
Afterward, he used the Debuff Master’s Level 65 active skill. Siegfried used the ‘B Rank Stone of Transcendence’ Cheon Woo-Jin gave him, which increased his level from Level 60 to Level 70.
As such, Siegfried managed to learn the Level 65 and Level 70 skills of the Debuff Master thanks to Cheon Woo-Jin’s gift.
<i>Bam! Bam! Bam!</i>
King Proa started beating the dragon’s head with his newly obtained skill.
