Elliana was a bit confused at the start, but she caught her bearings quite fast. She ran into the first house.
Nothing happened for a while, but a [Wind blast] burst down all the windows and a dragon half-blood got launched out of the house.
She repeated this until she had a group of able-bodied humans helping her out. They were no match for the half-blood dragons, but Elliana’s arrows and wind magic kept them at bay long enough so that the humans could also attack them with magic.
It was winter on the Green Floor, but it seems to be spring in this dimension. A gentle spring breeze was blowing to the west. Elliana nocked an arrow. It made a strange curve and hit a half dragon in his eye.
The dragon fell to the floor with a scream.
No magic was used, just pure skill and reading the wind. She would target the eyes of the opponents so that the humans stood a chance.
She was wondering why the season was different here. Agnis said that he evened the time flow. Does that mean that time used to flow differently here?
Elliana jumped to the side to dodge a [Dark Dragonbreath] and dragged a human with her as he couldn’t react in time. “Excuse me, can you tell me how long you have been in this situation?”
“Whoa, thanks! And almost a year, missy, we’re glad that we can finally be free!”
“A year…” Elliana wondered if she should tell the humans that they had only been gone for 3 months on the Green Floor. The air was clean here. All processes that humans normally keep going, which pollute the air, had been stopped for about a year.
Elliana was unsure of how to feel about this situation. She used [Spring Breeze] to encourage the wind and purify the air even more. She let her arrows dance on the wind, and she used elven magic to bind the more skilled half-blood dragons with vines and roots.
“What is an elf doing here, by the way?”
“I came here with 3 friends of mine who are helping out too.” Elliana said as she shot some [Lightning bolts] and more arrows.
“Help? How are they supposed to help us? We’re stuck in a different dimension!”
“Well, we got here, so we should also be able to go back.” Elliana smiled and created a [Tornado]. She had delegated saving others to the able-bodied humans. They were to lure out the half-blood dragons so that Elliana could take care of them.
Her group grew from 12 to 34 to 150. It didn’t take long for a large group of humans to be gathered around her, helping her, but also protecting her.
The half-blood dragons had realized that if they take her out, they would win. They marched up with a group of 300 strong fighters. Some started up their [Dragonbreath].Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation.
Ice arrows rained down and froze them solid. Elliana looked up. She wondered if she could teach Agnis the way of archery. He had the accuracy, but that was it, he could do so much more. Thankful for the assistance, she started to send arrow after arrow. All carried by the spring breeze. A large hammer appeared in the distance.
“Everyone retreat!” Elliana gathered mana and used [Wind Walk] on as many humans as she could. She threw a leaf kite in the air and hung from it upside down while continuing to target the eyes of the half dragons.
The massive shadow clad hammer slammed down and created a large shockwave. Elliana was unaffected, hanging from her kite. She used elven magic to create vines to stabilize the humans on the ground. Some humans knew wind magic and tried to get as many of them from the ground as possible.
Everyone was working together to regain freedom. Elliana saw 2 dark figures fly away into the distance and the half dragons started to panic. “What was that?”
“Is our leader, ok?” Most half dragons were hesitant, and a large group went back to check out what was happening at the castle.
“They are distracted! Now is the time to regain your freedom!”
The humans instantly reacted to Elliana’s voice and advanced toward the destroyed castle. Elliana continued to shoot down half-blood dragons, now assisted with wind and water magic.
Elliana started shooting her special Windbark arrows, which made impossible trajectories and targeted every dragon eye in her range. “We can do this! They are blinded! Let’s push the attack!”
The humans roared and rushed at the blinded half-dragons.
The morale of the humans increased even more as a large group of women entered the city.
The men reunited with their mothers, wives or daughters and started to rush to the palace with renewed vigor. Elliana was wondering if they still needed her at this point. The half-blood dragons had no morale and were vastly outnumbered by the humans.
The humans had learned to go for the eyes, and that was exactly what they did. Even the stronger half-blood dragons were getting easily overwhelmed. Elliana landed on a tower and looked over the city of Gir.
She saw large groups of women appear at the east side of the city in periodic intervals.
“That must be Raishin.”
The humans had completely retaken their city after 2 hours. Some large groups were made to head out for the villages in the surroundings.
Elliana was unsure what would happen if the 6 hours were up. Was it possible to defeat every half-blood dragon in this country?
The leader was defeated, the humans were freed. What to do now? Elliana had an idea.
She ran south. Toward the southern border and toward a small forest.
She ran on the wind and as fast as she could, took a deep breath and made as many large leaf kites and gliders as she could with the help of the forest. She rested for 20 minutes and used wind magic to bring the fleet of leaf gliders and kites down to help Raishin move the humans back to their country.
Elliana saw something that irritated her an hour later.
“Oh no! they are not going to mess with Greg!” She continued doing her task, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t attack. She readied her Windbark arrows and targeted 2 individuals who were about to attack Gregory.
