Middle Warring States Era,
With their newfound visual prowess, the Hagoromo n steadily rose to power.
Soon, they forged a distinct identity for themselves and truly separated themselves from the brand of the Uchiha branch family.
Genreigan identified itself as a superior Dojutsu, surpassing even the Sharingan and the Byakugan. The ability of the Genreigan to cast an extremely powerful genjutsu and strip the senses of their enemies made it a powerful tool of war.
Even the main family of the Uchiha n had to recognize its power and extend a friendly gesture to the Hagoromo n. Thus, the severed rtionships between the two ns were restored.
As a friendly gesture, the women of both ns married to man of other n. This not only maintained their friendly ties and forged familial bonds but also maintained the Uchiha blood among the members of the Hagoromo n.
The next-generation leader of the Hagoromo n suggested the inter-n marriage. It was an effort to maintain a certain level of Uchiha blood among the Hagoromo n progeny and was secretly suggested by ck Zetsu.
Despite their close rtionships, the Hagoromo n closely guarded the secret of their ''Dojutsu'', never revealing its true nature to outsiders. Only a few elders were aware of the secret and even then, only the current generation of n leaders knew the form for the ''Bloodline Pill''.
The Uchiha n tried to probe the secret through overt and covert methods, but was always disappointed. The Hagoromo n elders secretly manipted the memories of the Uchiha women who married into the Hagoromo n to prevent them from leaking their secrets. The Hagoromo n elders deceived not just outsiders but also their n members. Once the Hagoromo n had a firm footing, they controlled the number of ''Genreigan'' being awakened within the n.
The conditions to awaken the ''Genreigan'' were harsh. But over a span of several decades, the n elders had figured out some prerequisites to awaken these eyes.
Of course, ck Zetsu secretly provided such information to them. ck Zetsu provided them with such crucial information, not because he cared for them.
On the contrary, he lost interest in the Hagoromo n after his research results were met. Still, the members of the Hagoromo n were like wild mutts, ughtering the Senju and Uzumaki n members to turn their blood into pills.
This development greatly stoked him since it dyed the reincarnation of the Indra and Asura. So, he secretly manipted the elders of the Hagoromo n.
The bloodline of the Hagoromo n must reach a certain threshold if they want to awaken the ''Genreigan''. Below it, they would never awaken the Dojutsu and the bloodline pills would not only affect them but also cause harm.
Thus, to preserve their members, a certain bloodline ceremony was carried out by the elders of the Hagoromo n to test the bloodline purity of the n children at the age of ten.
The children who passed the test were nurtured into elites. These elites underwent special training and were secretly given ''Bloodline pills'' to awaken their Dojutsu.
This information was hidden from the rest of the n members and thus, over the course of several decades, the members who knew the secret of ''Genreigan'' were few and far.
The hatred between the Senju and the Uchiha n continued to persist, even after several centuries of conflict.
Even though the two ns had forgotten their initial cause of conflict, the hatred against each other was deep-seated in their bones.
Killing the members of the opposite n became an achievement and a symbol of status within each n.
Late Warring States Era,
The chaos of the shinobi worldsted a few more centuries.
The revolt of the Chinoike n was one such significant event. The Daimyo of the Land of Lightning took the princess of the Chinoike n as a concubine. This made the main wife jealous of the Chinoike princess. She orchestrated a devious n and poisoned her husband, the Daimyo, to frame the Chinoike princess.
However, a mishap happened- the daimyo died. The first wife''s family manipted the politics of the Land of Lightning and framed the Chinoike princess for the murder of his husband.
The public was outraged by the event and the Chinoike princess was executed publicly, stoned to death by people. Soon, the brother of the Chinoike princess, now the current leader of the Chinoike n, learned of her sister''s mishap and first wife''s evil scheme.
Enraged, he ordered his n members to massacre the family of the first wife. Thus, within a single night, the Chinoike n members massacred the entire family of the first wife.
The family of the first wife were wealthy merchants and held a significant influence in the Land of Lightning. When the other branches of their family learned of this transgression, they hired several shinobis ns to suppress the Chinoike n.
However, the Chinoike n was far superior to other ns in the Land of Lightning, massacring every enemy they confronted.
This audacious act drew the ire of several other merchant families. United, these merchant families paid a hefty price and hired the Uchiha n from the Land of Fire to ughter the entire Chinoike n.
However, the Uchiha n shared some history with the Chinoike n. Because of their past rtionships, the leader of the Uchiha n decided to banish the Chinoike n to the Valley of Hell in the Land of Boiling Water instead of eradicating them.
No other shinobi n dared to argue against the Uchiha n''s decision since they were the top dog of the entire shinobi world.
However, this event sparked another me of war in the shinobi world.
After the Chinoike n''s rampage and the subsequent weeding of several shinobi ns, the Land of Lightning became a rich piece of cake with no owner.
Thus, another major war broke out and once again, the Senju and Uchiha found themselves on opposite sides.
This cycle of war and hatred continued until the birth of Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha.
These two prodigies fought hard against each other, bing each other''s bitter enemies as they lost their families at each other''s hands.
However, despite their differences and grudges; the two n leaders stretched a hand of friendship towards each other.
Well, to be exact, it was Hashirama Senju who pummeled some sense into Madara and even reached to him and stood with him, standing against the wish of his n members to protect him.
Thus, the long-seated grudge of the two ns was finally quelled despite the deep hatred and protest of their n members.
However, the members of these two ns were helpless against the overwhelming power of their n leaders. Hashirama and Madara single-handedly subdued their respective ns into submission.
While it was easy for Hashirama to convince his allies since his wife, Mito Uzumaki, was the daughter of the Uzumaki n leader. Mito Uzumaki stood with her husband and supported his decision. And Hashirama was already a revered figure in both Senju and the Uzumaki n.
On the contrary, the path to unification wasn''t easy for Madara. The power dynamic of the Uchiha n and the Hagoromo n was much different from the Senju and Uzumaki.
While Senju and Uzumaki n were mostly based on co-operation and teamwork among n members, individual power was more prominent in the Uchiha and Hagoromo n.
There was a clear distinction between the elite andmoners in the Uchiha and the Hagoromo n. Only a few shinobis with their n''s Kekkei Genkai were among the elite members. These elite members were prideful, having achieved their current power solely on hard work without any support from other members.
The Uchiha n had two such promising members, Madara Uchiha and the Hikaku Uchiha. Madara proved his superior prowess and thus became the leader of the Uchiha n.
So, during the process of unification of ns to form a vige, a few discontent voices emerged. Hikaku Uchiha was also among them. These discontent Uchiha members left the vige and settled in the Valley of Flowers.
On the other hand, the Hagoromo n was an entirely different case. They vehemently opposed the idea of any alliance with the Senju and the Uzumaki n. While themon members of the n were in support of the alliance, the elite few who knew the secret of their Dojutsu were against it.
Madara faced a severe challenge- a challenge to unify his allies. He confronted the stubborn Hagoromo n members and failed to convince them.
In the end, the Hagoromo n broke their several centuries of agreement and separated themselves from the Uchiha n Alliance.
They found a settlement in the Land of Waves, a small ind country adjacent to the Land of Fire.
The Uzumaki n also followed a simr sentient. Though they were supportive of the Senju n in their alliance with the Uchiha n, they didn''t share the idea of living in the same vige as the Uzumaki n. Thus, the Uzumaki n found their vige on a small ind nation in the Land of Whirlpool.
