You should know, the total diameter of the Milky Way is no more than 180,000 light years and the thickness no more than 18000 light years. However, this data is obtained from the Gctic Federation. The data on Earth states that the Milky Way’s diameter is 120,000 light years, with this discrepancy being asrge as 60,000 light years.

    The journey to meet up with Jasmine Davis’s ship will take three more days. It’s kind of boring, especially since this is a small ship. The avable facilities can hardlypare to those on Jasmine Davis’srge ship. After a couple of warp jumps on the small ship, only 12 hours have passed but it feels as if several days have dragged on for Finn Lewis.


    Fortunately, Luna Starfield’s awesomeness isn’t for show or you could say that the Gctic Federation’s technology isn’t mediocre. Finn Lewis can watch movies produced by the Gctic Federation or y games without losing inte connection during the ship’s flight and warp jumps. Honestly, thiswork is superb.


    What really piques Finn Lewis’s interest is the Gctic Federation’s aplishment of true virtual reality technology—an immersive virtual reality that’s indistinguishable from reality—allowing for a range of special movies and high quality games to be experienced. At least, these games are way cooler than those on Earth.


    Just when Finn Lewis was about to settle down with a game, Luna Starfield’s voice suddenly tensed, “Your Highness, something’s wrong!”


    The sound of Luna Starfield’s voice took Finn Lewis aback. He now has his own room without anyone else inside, hence he asked without hesitation, “What happened?”<div>


    “Your Highness! Someone is harboring harmful intentions towards you!” Luna Starfield straightforwardly replied.


    Finn Lewis froze, his face turning white immediately as he spoke hastily, “You’re saying that there’s someone on this ship who wants to harm me?”


    “No, it’s not from inside the ship, but instead pirate warships from the outside are advancing towards your ship,” Luna Starfield’s tone became somewhat frantic as she swiftly borated.


    “You must be kidding me, right?” Finn Lewis stared nkly for a moment before his face turned ghastly pale. Damn it! Just when he was most apprehensive, pirate attack urred. Back on the Death Star, he was aware of the existence of interster pirates and mercenaries who had secret supporters. Finn Lewis had a hunch that these supporters were likely the royal family and noblemen who used them to resolve difficulties and conflicts ndestinely.


    Otherwise, such forces wouldn’t have been able to exist so prosperously. To dispose of these people would have been too easy, yet they thrived remarkably. This implied that the ruling ss of the Gctic Federation still required their services. Much like the infamous ckwater Security Company on Earth and some international mercenaries, these mercenaries thrived simply because countries like the North Federation needed them.


    This enabled the North Federation to carry out covert operations that their officials couldn’t perform. Simrly, these interster pirates must have existed for the same reasons too. However, his worst fear came true. He had only left the Redglow Star not too long ago before he was targeted, and by pirate groups no less! This was not like the assassinations on Earth.


    Damn it! In the vaseness of the universe, the weapons on those warships, once hit, the chances of escaping were virtually none.


    Even if you could survive in outer space, it would make no difference! Without the ability to perform a warp jump or without a spaceship to rescue you, what’s the point of being able to survive in space? Without a warp engine to reach habitables for humans, no matter how awesome you are, once the oxygen supply is depleted, that’s it.


    This was like tossing a person into the center of the Pacific Ocean. The feeling of despair was simr, you won’t die of asphyxiation. “How did you find out?” Aftering back to his senses, Finn Lewis sat upright and quickly asked.


    “Your Highness, as I’ve mentioned, my privileges are highly advanced. The reason why the star-fieldwork can span the entire area controlled by the Gctic Federation is because thework actually has its own nodes throughout the entire Milky Way. In reality, thesework nodes are equipped with functions that allow for location tracking and capturing warships. However, virtually no one has the authority to use such functions. I discovered them only because they logged into the star-fieldwork and infiltrated the federation’s surveincework through illegal means to search for your ship,” Luna Starfield anxiously exined.


    “I traced their signal and found out that they are from a pirate group,” Luna Starfield quickly added.


    Finn Lewis froze for a moment. Although he did not fully understand the workings of the federation, he seemed to know from Luna Starfield’s words just how remarkable it was for her to pull this off! Damn, does this mean she can monitor virtually the entire Milky Way? That’s insane.


    However, this was not the time to ponder over this. Finn Lewis quickly asked, “How long do we have before they can track us down?”n/?/vel/b//in dot c//om


    “If we calcte based on the current situation, they’ll be able to find us approximately 39 hours from now. Because we don’t have anyrge spaceships, the likelihood of us evading their tracking is slim. If they manage to locate you, Your Highness, the chances of your survival will be less than one in ten thousand,” Luna Starfield eximed anxiously.


    “Thanks a lot,” Finn Lewis retorted sarcastically. With odds less than one in ten thousand, might as well tell me that I’m doomed. Think about it, if these ships catch up to me, then I’m good as dead. Finn Lewis didn’t believe that these pirates were trying to kidnap him.


    However, Finn Lewis quickly forced himself to remain calm. He didn’t immediately seek Zero’s help—Zero wasn’t all-powerful, and even if it was, Finn Lewis couldn’t always rely on it. He needed to see if he could resolve this crisis on his own first.


    “Luna, is there a way to handle this crisis?”


    “Yes, based on my calctions, we have a 34 percent chance of escaping,” Luna Starfield quickly responded.


    “Let’s hear it.” They still had more than 30 hours, there was still time.<div>
