 I looked at him, my expression unreadable, and then I turned my gaze toward the gate. The orcs, dressed in colorful garments, stood there, waiting for us. They waved at us, their faces friendly and weing.

 Not a word came out of my mouth to answer Burz. Instead, I gave him a mysterious smile and let him guess what was in my thoughts.

"And if we need a hostage, we can simply take one from the city. So, Prince Burz of orcs," I added, my voice taking on a menacing tone. "Don''t ever think of doing anything stupid."

 Burz nodded, understanding my threat. But I could sense his unease. Then he lowered his head, his eyes avoiding mine as he stood up and gestured to the gate.
