    The sky was perfectly clear, spanning several miles with no sight of clouds.


    David Jones’s final stage duel was about to begin.


    “Huff.”


    He slowly exhaled a long breath, mildly mobilizing his body before stepping into the spacious and beautifully illuminated game corridor leading to the stage that was filled with exhrating cheers.


    “Ladies and Gentlemen, please wee the undefeated genius, the unstoppable duel stage champion among the apprentice Trainers in Watend City, David Jones!”


    The host yelled with all his might.


    Standing on the stage, David Jones seemed rather indifferent, yet his fists were tightly clenched within his sleeves.


    “Exaggeration by all means, as long as I am not in the awkward position, then it’s others who will be!”


    Naturally, David had the utmost confidence in Rainbow’s capability, but he was simply not used to the host’s exaggerated form of appraisal.


    “And his challenger is the stunning, yet formidable apprentice Trainer: Margaret Yule!”


    Consequently, David’s attention was immediately drawn as he looked over at the other side of the battleground in bewilderment.


    A bashful young girl in an elegant ck suit, matched with a ck mini skirt walked fondly into themand zone.


    She was wearing a white headphone with her ck hair scattering over her shoulders. Catching David Jones’s surprised gaze, Margaret gracefully nodded with a smile.


    “I need to take this game more seriously, or else I could lose,” David thought silently.


    As the battlemenced, an ice pet, unsurprisingly appeared before David.


    It had a line of vertical blue beard under its sharp eyes. Its head was bluish-grey while the feathers covering its back and wings were white, apanied by triangle-shaped blue spots.


    Its wings were narrow and pointed, with long feathers at its tail. Moreover, it had wide blue subterminal patches and white terminal patches, creating an illusion of white lightning when flying at high speed.

    “Pet Type”: Ice


    “Species Level”: Superior


    “Grade”: Fresh Level IX


    “Species Skill”: Ice w, Cold Breath, Ice de, Froststorm, Keen Eye


    “Pet Potential”: Purple A-tier


    “Supreme Fresh Level IX, Azurefrost Falcon, Rainbow, be cautious.”, David said staring seriously at the formidable Azurefrost Falcon.


    “Yiya!” o(‘a ‘ )o (“Understood!”)


    The nonchnt expression on Rainbow’s face disappeared instantly as she also intently looked at the soaring Azurefrost Falcon.


    “Pr Ice.”


    A faint cold air began to rise continuously around Rainbow, rendering everything around her into a snow-white ice scenery.


    “Azurefrost Falcon, use Froststorm.”


    A slight smile appeared at the corner of Margaret’s mouth. The ice field established by Coldjade Snake could enable Azurefrost Falcon to whip up a more violent froststorm.


    Under the frantic pping of Azurefrost Falcon’s wings, a mini tornado instantaneously took shape not far from it. The tornado quickly expanded, transforming into a stormden with countless frosts sweeping towards the Coldjade Snake.


    Gazing at the approaching froststorm, David knit his brows.


    What’s the meaning of this, starting off with a blitz attack right from the beginning?


    Rainbow is an ice pet, the coldness mainly carried by this wide-range ice skill could hardly inflict effective damage to Rainbow.


    “Ice Armor, then Ice Concealment to find the opportunity,” Davidmanded telepathically.


    “Yiya.” (Very good.)


    The storm quickly approached.


    “Hiss…” David Jones shielded his eyes with his hand. The chill that pounced from the Duel tform made his body involuntarily start shivering.


    Soon, after the storm had dispersed, numerousrge and small pits appeared on the tform in front of David Jones.


    Outside the pits were broken shards of ice andrge chunks of frost, and Rainbow disappeared from sight.


    Margaret Yule carefully surveyed the frost on the tform in the distance.


    Ordinary pets would have no chance of survival under this kind of attack, only being frozen intorge chunks of ice by the chill.


    Even for the Coldjade Snake, if unlucky and hit by the center of the Froststorm, it would also lose arge amount of strength.


    “Use Keen Eye to find the Coldjade Snake!” Margaret Yule urgentlymanded.


    “Luoyi!” The Azurefrost Falcon, constantly circling in the air, let out a loud call, its eyes desperately searching for the possible figure of the Coldjade Snake on the Duel tform.


    Looking at the Azurefrost Falcon flying and scouting in the sky, David Jones felt a little troubled.

    Energy gathered in Rainbow’s mouth, transforming into a surging beam of light that shot towards the Azurefrost Falcon in the sky with a speed as fast as lightning.


    A hint of “as expected” shed across the sharp eyes of the Azurefrost Falcon, it was well-prepared under the trainer’s reminder after all.


    Its flying speed instantly surged, swiftly avoiding the Cold Breath attack, and then made a beeline for the now exposed Coldjade Snake.


    “Little Frost, seize this opportunity, Ice w raid!”


    A bright smile appeared on Margaret Yule’s cheek, swinging her right hand forcefully as if to encourage her pet.


    The Azurefrost Falcon had actually used its Keen Eye ability early on to find the Coldjade Snake’s hiding spot.


    But she had yed dumb the whole time, intentionally luring her opponent into an attack.


    After all, it was rather difficult for the Azurefrost Falcon’s long-range skills to harm the same Ice-type Coldjade Snake.


    However, if it can swiftly raid the instant the opponentunched its skill, the attack would make it very hard for the Coldjade Snake to dodge the elerated pounce of the Azurefrost Falcon from above.


    “Luoyi!”


    The Azurefrost Falcon’s chilling talons suddenly lit up with a blue glow, its body drawing an agile arc in the air, quickly approaching Rainbow, who still had her mouth slightly opened.


    Seeing Rainbow about to fall to the Ice w raid of the Falcon, an excited look emerged on David Jones’s face instead.


    “Looks like I am one step ahead.”


    David Jones thought to himself silently, a hint of mirth shing across his eyes as he looked at the Azurefrost Falcon.


    “Confusion Guard.”


    Rainbow’s open mouth shut abruptly, her watery eyes filled with smugness.


    As shemanded with her mind, her pupils suddenly lit up with a light blue me, and an invisible Confusion Guard, which had been prepared for a long time, suddenly unfolded in front of her, encapsting the onrushing Azurefrost Falcon.


    “Swish swish!”


    That was the sound of the Azurefrost Falcon’s sharp Ice w shing through the air, yet it was unable to touch Rainbow’s body.
