Wind Spirit Fox Leg Meat:
The most tender part of a young Wind Spirit Fox
Item Quality: 10
Selling price in the shop: 100 silver coins
The male and female yers who were standing next to each other could not help but smile when they saw that the shop owner’s so-called “good stuff” were just a few pieces of tasty-looking meat. This Tier 3 Aquamancer, whom they thought was somebody, turned out to be just an ordinary yer who supplied raw ingredients to this “big gluttonous boss”.
They nced at each other and shook their heads. Losing interest, the group returned their gazes to the equipment on the counter and continued to survey them.
The shop owner was tempted by the meat Qin Ruo ced on the counter; He pressed the meat skilfully and leaned forward to sniff them. Then, he looked up.
“How did you get these? I’ve tasted a lot of meat and wine for so many months, but I never knew the meat of the Wind Spirit Fox could be gathered,” he swallowed as he spoke, and continued to ask eagerly, “The taste of this meat is probably not bad, heh, what am I saying? These meat pieces feel so tender, so their taste must be good too. What’s your price?”
As expected of an old man with years of experience in tasting wine and meat, he did not even hesitate to show his intention of going for the leg meat. He looked eager, as though the thing he wanted the most right then was to take the meat home straightaway and barbeque them for tasting.
Qin Ruo smiled as he shook his head and ced the ck Dragonfly Herb on the counter. He then said, “This meat isn’t hard to get, so I’ll just give it all to you. I have a few raw materials for magic potions here, what’s the most suitable selling price for them in your opinion?”
Once the ck Dragonfly Herb and Earth Essence were taken out, the boss’ gaze was immediately attracted towards them. With a bizarre expression, he looked at the herbs on the counter, and then at Qin Ruo before he curiously said, “I don’t see you for one day, and you’ve already switched jobs?” There was a note of admiration in his tone.
No wonder he was surprised. For the past one month, Qin Ruo only relied on gathering stuff from the Galewind Wolves to survive, and he was just a nobody. The day before, Qin Ruo obtained the Galewind Wolf King’s fur and crystal core by sheer luck. Today, he had herbs which a lot of Tier 4 yers were not even able to gather... Although it was still a job of gathering raw materials, the ss had increased a lot!
Moreover, Qin Ruo was only a Tier 3 yer, so this fact made the old man more amazed.
Qin Ruo saw the curiosity reflected in the boss’ eyes but did not n to exin about how he robbed Centipede Cavern of all its valuables. He smiled casually and gave a subdued “exnation”. The rough idea of his story consisted of him walking on the road when he “suddenly” discovered the raw ingredients for magic potions, so he just gathered them along...
His exnation was greeted by the shop owner’s contempt and dismissal. The man seemed to beughing at his inferior lying skills.
“Never mind. If you don’t want to tell me, that’s fine by me. I’ll just assume that you really gathered them in passing. Hmm, to thank you for these pieces of leg meat, I’ll buy them ording to the rounded-up market price, 650 gold coins for a ck Dragonfly Herb and 1,200 gold coins for an Earth Essence. How about that?”
Qin Ruo, perturbed upon hearing this, promptly agreed to the deal at once. He never thought that giving away a few pieces of meat for free would reap more benefits than expected. ‘
Ha, it was worth not being able to take a bite of good meat. ‘
As he received the 7,600 gold coins from the boss, Qin Ruo had an urge to take out the Violet Jade Fruits and trade them for gold too...
Fortunately, Qin Ruo was not stupid. This medication had never appeared on the market before, therefore its cirction and liquidity may only be controlled by a few ns. There were fewer people who needed it and even fewer people who could use it. Hence, if he sold it hastily before truly knowing its uses, the price would not be high.
It was better to sell it when a lot of people start fighting to get their hands on it once its uses were fully discovered...
The idea of appreciation formed rapidly in his head. Making up his mind, Qin Ruo said goodbye to the boss and turned to walk out of the shop. He nned to deposit the Violet Jade Fruit in the bank, wait until he knew its true value and sell it at a high price then.
He had just exited the shop for a short time when a few people chased after him. They were those yers who were browsing the equipment in the Equipment Area earlier; their tiers were not high, but their equipment was not bad—in the game, finding people with equipment poorer than Qin Ruo’s was really hard...
Being stopped, Qin Ruo turned around and saw two males as well as females standing in front of him. The four of them did not have any League or n badges. Obviously, they were also lone yers, the same as he was. Among the male yers, one of them was a Bowmaster whom Qin Ruo could not gauge in terms of his direction of development; the other was a Swordsman, and one could feel a light firey aura around him if they got closer. Hence, he was probably the Ignis Swordmaster out of the seven branches of Swordsmen.
The two girls looked pretty and they were sizing him up curiously... Ahem, this seemed to be amon problem for men. They did not take much interest in evaluating the looks of other men but were always concerned with the image of the opposite sex.
One of the girls was an Aeromancer while the other was a Radiant Priest; thisbination was barely satisfactory...
“Is there anything you want from me?”
Qin Ruo looked at them.
“Umm, back there in the shop, we heard that those Tier 5 and Tier 6 raw ingredients for magic potions were gathered by you, so I presume that your Gathering Skill... has reached an Advanced level, right?”
Qin Ruo nodded his head, thinking that his Gathering Skill was already at Master level, so it was also considered Advanced...
“Great!”
With Qin Ruo’s confirmation, the Ignis Swordmaster held out his hand and said, “Nice to meet you, I’m Grand Magi and these are my teammates. All of us are Tier 4 yers. It’s like this, we want to hire a friend who has an Advanced Gathering Skill to help us out with a problem.”
Not batting an eyelid, Qin Ruo shook their hands.
“First of all, I may or may not ept your request. That depends on how much your hiring fee is.”
As soon as his voice fell, one of the male and female yers in the group were startled. They were standing by the side, and shortly after, their faces bore a faint look of disdain.
However, Grand Magi did not mind Qin Ruo’s way of talking at all.
“Haha, of course!”
He then exined the whole story.
It turned out that while they were resting after leveling up in the Snow Domain, the four of them found a few Tier 5 raw materials for potions—Frost Lotus, in a hidden snowy corner. Since none of them possessed Gathering or had any friends who had mastered it, they could not get their hands on the Frost Lotus. They were worried if they went to the Mercenary Guild to post the quest, others would be one step ahead in taking away the lotuses. In the end, they went to the well-known “raw materials collection center” to wait for a suitable candidate to help them.
Upon hearing this, Qin Ruo could not help but roll his eyes. It looked like... a Tier 3 Aquamancer with no background was quite harmless in the eyes of ordinary yers...
