As Qin Ruo sped toward Devil’s Swamp, he learned through Little Kitten and Gold Digger Babe that the frequent onught at Devil’s Swamp was bing increasingly chaotic!
Not only were Order of the Eight Gods’ n members scattered around Devil’s Swamp do everything possible to seek out their trail and engage inbat, but also the Tier 3 and 4 Devilcrocs in Devil’s Swamp gathered under the Gargantuan Demoncroc’smand tounch attacks on both sides. Additionally, some Tier 3 and 4 yers also rushed from cktown upon receiving the news. On top of all that, there were also random yers that came along to loot equipment and join in the fun.
The whole of Devil’s Swamp was now akin to dynamite barrel filled with the smell of gunpowder, where it could ignite at any time and explode.
At the same time, Qin Ruo received an unfortunate news rted to Brother Da.
As Brother Da had been guarding the dead bodies despite and because he was not resurrected by a Radiant Priest, his level dropped by one. Afterward, when fighting his way back to Devil’s Swamp from cktown with a band of brothers, they encountered Order of the Eight Gods’ n members that happened to be the red tagged party that specialized in PK.
They were then once again spawn camped not far from where Little Kitten and the others were...
If it were not for Little Kitten who sent a message to Wang Da just in time, asking him to wait for a while, this group of people would have suffered from a drop in level again!
By now, Qin Ruo was very anxious, earnestly wishing he could grow a pair of wings and charge into Devil’s Swamp!
However, an Elementalist’s Movement Speed was not high in nature. It would still be the same speed even when he ran desperately... By the time he reached the front of a ck and sparse forest, nearly twenty minutes had passed.
Without the anxiety and uneasiness he felt during the first time he entered it, Qin Ruo dashed into the forest in front without hesitation—Devil’s Swamp!
***
Devil’s Swamp was very different from the usual marsh areas, as it was a jungle swamp. Its vast area was well-known across the entire Mythical Continent!
The scariest parts inside this jungle with an unpredictable environment were the many swamp traps and Devilcrocs which could hardly be detected by the naked eye.
The swamp traps were not big but could cause a huge problem. Once yers stood in it, they would be immediately trapped and would require much effort to get out. If a camouged Croc swam over at that time, that would be a “jackpot”! Within the swamp, even the highest tier Berserker would be dragged mercilessly into the muddy swamp, drastically reducing speed and weakeningbat power.
Thus, even the strongest yer needs to be careful and cautious in Devil’s Swamp and payplete attention to everything inside.
Tricky and dangerous—the reason that deterred many yers from Devil’s Swamp!
Qin Ruo could still remember the first time he stepped into that ce. Despite almost two hundred yers going into the heart of Devil’s Swamp, all their faces were pale. They held their breaths, not daring to rx even a little and were on full alert.
The Devil’s Swamp back then had also left asting impression on Qin Ruo!
Of course, the situation would change with time.
The dangers on the second floor of the ruins were not any less than here. Qin Ruo had experienced a much harsher training at the ruins after all. So even though he was alone right now, he still rushed into Devil’s Swamp, towards the coordinates that Little Kitten and Gold Digger Babe sent him...
***
Devil’s Swamp’s ground was extreme damp with water covering more than 50% of the entire swamp, which was considered an area abundant with the water element.
Qin Ruo was surprised that he received the Elemental Perception: Water status then quickly realized that there was a Bandit up ahead, not far from where he was. A faint sanguine luster emitted from the Bandit’s entire body. He was in a hunched position, hiding behind the shadows of tworge trees. His eyes were sharply scanning about, as he quietly listened to the sounds in the surrounding.
“Red tagged...”
Qin Ruo instantly slowed down and used the Elemental Perception: Water to gain “sight” of his surroundings.
Very soon he discovered that this Bandit was not a regr one—although he did not use Dark Sight, his chosen location was strategic as his entire body blended into the shadows which could not be noticed without watching carefully. As such, the Bandit could observe most areas in Devil’s Swamp merely through the gap between the trees!
Besides, being in such a still and silent environment, even yering from behind would definitely be detected by him.
It was a mere simple trick to conceal tracks, but he utilized almost all of the surrounding environment in it. He was no ordinary Bandit!
However, when Qin Ruo “found” a small insignia that only n members had on his chest, he tensed up at once.
It was an insignia surrounded by eight blue mes. In the center, the word “God” was written with such a powerful stroke that resembled the resilience and pride of the Jiang River.
Order of the Eight Gods n!
He was really from Order of the Eight Gods n. Their purpose should be to scout the area and wait for the yers! However whether it was spy or assassin that was ced here, he was just a single red tagged Bandit... Death wasing for him! (Once a red tagged yer is killed, he would be directly imprisoned in the sinful Underwater Prison, disabling one from being resurrection by Radiant Priests.)
After using Elemental Perception to scan everything within a radius of one hundred meters and confirming the situation around, Qin Ruo’s lip curled into a slightly cruel smile.
If it was any other ss, perhaps he would not be so reckless...
Unfortunately, Bandits had the worst Magic Defense among all the sses. Their HP was alsoparable to that of Elementalist. Once his whereabouts was known, any DPS ss could defeat him!
<i>‘Anyway... if you don’t go to hell, who would?!’</i>
In the quiet Devil’s Swamp, a ripple appeared on the surface of the water. It spread out slowly and silently, not making a single sound.
The surrounding environment was still the same as before...
Everyone was calm. Noiseless.
“Godyer” who was hiding in the darkness shifted his body undetected. Unsure if he had been staying here for very long, he sensed that the atmosphere had turned gloomy. Bored, he nced at his watch—ten minutes had passed since hest caught a prey...
<i>‘Why isn’t anyoneing?’</i>
Suddenly, a warning sound 1 was heard!
However, it was toote. An extremely strong chill rose from behind all of sudden. He did not even get a chance to turn his head when a strong cold current froze his body starting from his neck and nerves in an instant.
