    The moment the red-haired femalended onto the ground, she immediately cast her spell. A dragon made of mes bared its fangs as it surged forth from the tip of her staff and hurtled directly towards Li Yi.

    Had she known that things would end up this way, she would have turned off the option that allowed contact with strangers long ago.


    Qian’er was furious.


    Back on the ground, Li Yi sighed. “Lady, I didn’t do it on purpose...”

    Qian’er pointed her staff at Li Yi and asked, “So, you’re Dark Wing?”


    The Orange Quality Bow was Li Yi’s symbol. For the moment, Li Yi was still the only one with an Orange Quality Bow in all of King of Pantheon. As such, it was not a surprise that Qian’er could identify him.

    Qian’er snorted, “I heard that Dark Wing was a perverted sleazebag. From what I have seen today, it really is true.”

    Li Yi released his soul and corpse-ran back. However, he did not resurrect. Instead, he spoke to Qian’er in soul form.


    “Hey beautiful, what’s your name?”


    Qian’er rolled her eyes, but she did not answer.


    “Hmm, let me guess your name. Since your skin is so white, and you have amazing body proportions, I’m guessing that your surname is Bai?” ²


    “Hey beautiful, you don’t have a boyfriend yet, right?”


    Qian’er did not mutter a single word to Li Yi’s onught of questions. Instead, she silently chanted her spell and erected Fire Walls around Li Yi’s corpse.


    If Li Yi stayed in the soul form for too long, he would be forcefully resurrected at the temple.

    Qian’er’s legs lightly lifted off the ground. With her staff still held aloft, she rained balls of fire vehemently towards Li Yi.


    Li Yi activated God Mode, beat his wings, flew to the sky, and erased all traces of his presence in the blink of an eye.


    Qian’er’s attacks were aggressive, but since she did not have a flying mount, she was powerless as Li Yi flew away.


    Qian’er menacingly stomped her foot onto the ground, but she did not give chase. Instead, she followed the lingering traces of heat and found ming Phoenix’s corpse.


    Qian’er took out a carving knife and stooped beside ming Phoenix’s corpse to loot it.


    5 minutes passed, and not a single feather had dropped from ming Phoenix.


    Since ming Phoenix was not really dead, but only temporarily Soul Bound, it was not a surprise that she could not carve it.

    Qian’er had changed her name. It was not the one that she used in her previous life.


    Li Yi was even more curious now. He could not think of the reason that would cause Lin Qian to change her in-game-name.


    Lin Qian continued walking towards the East. It appeared that she was heading towards de Peak.


    It was currently the dead of the night and the number of yers currently online was much lowerpared to during the day. It was for this reason that Qian’er had decided to enter Invincible Continent toplete her task at this time.


    Along the way, she carefully tread around the Invincible Continent yers who were still training and before long, she had made her way to the foot of the mountain.

    Qian’er kept on trying, from the middle of the night until morning the next day. She had already spent 7 hours in her attempts, but she finally managed to gain a foothold.


    “It’s about time to go up, no?”


    Li Yi yawned. He was about to ‘Teleport’ to meet up with ming Phoenix until he saw a ck-armored, long-legged chick climbing up de Peak on Ice Toad King’s Mount.


    ‘Jiaojiao?’


    Li Yi flinched. He narrowed his eyes and confirmed that the person was indeed Jiaojiao.


    ‘Qian’er is climbing up, and so is Jiaojiao. Don’t tell me they’re going to fight.”


    Li Yi summoned Ice Toad King’s mount and followed closely behind Jiaojiao.


    Climbing up de Peak was as easy as pie for Li Yi now. There was no difficulty at all, and though he did not dare climb up with his eyes closed, he had no problems doing it with his eyes open.


    If Li Yi could do it, so could Jiaojiao. Plus, Jiaojiao leapt at an even greater pace than Li Yi. Her leaps were also more stable. Though initially, Li Yi had followed closely behind Jiaojiao, as time went on, he could no longer even detect her presence.


    By the time Li Yi had reached the summit of de Peak, he was shocked at the scene that unfolded before him.


    Jiaojiao and Qian’er were holding each other’s hands affectionately and were having a chat. from the way they interacted, it seemed like they had been sisters for life.


    “This can’t be right. This can’t be right! Jiaojiao and Qian’er were indeed best friends in the previous life, but this wasn’t how they met. This... this...” Li Yi stuttered.

    “Bye-bye!” Jiaojiao waved her little hands and watched as the magical gate disappeared.


    Li Yi could no longer hold it in. He steered Ice Toad King to jump up, and he arrived at the summit of de Peak.


    He wanted to hear Jiaojiao’s exnation of what had just transpired!
