Li Yi picked up little Feathershine and rocked her, growing anxious.
“The Winged Ones are like humans, so they can eat whatever humans eat.”
“Whoosh!”
Li Yi instantly teleported to the Auction House and bought a few Cuisines before returning home.
“Squee-squeak.”
When little Feathershine saw the food, her eyes immediately lit up and she flew right at the food, digging in.
Her body was only the size of a person’s thumb, but her appetite was shocking. She could eat food that was several dozen timesrger than her, flying as she ate. In the blink of an eye, she had digested it all.
Li Yi had bought eleven Cuisines, and little Feathershine ate seven in one go before she finally flew back to Li Yi’s palm, satisfied. There, she rubbed her round belly with her fat hands and fell asleep.
“She sure can eat, huh? How adorable.”
Jiaojiao poked Feathershine with her finger, overflowing fondness in her gaze.
The Hunter Goddess sighed, “The Winged Ones were hypnotized by the gods. When they’re born, they’re forced to ept their destiny as protectors of Mount Pantheon. It is something they can never escape for all their lives. This Winged One is very fortunate that her mind ispletely her own. If you raise her carefully, she will surely be a wonderful battlepanion.”
“Haha, but of course!”
While little Feathershine was fast asleep, Li Yi checked her Attributes again and was pleasantly surprised to find that she even had an Equipment Pane. This meant that, just like the yers, she could carry weapons and wear equipment.
Although little Feathershine was still young, the existence of the Equipment Pane was enough to convince Li Yi that she had infinite potential.
After all, she did not have a level cap, and she could even wear equipment. Sure, her current Attributes were utter garbage, but what about when she grows up? For one, her Attributes were guaranteed to increase, but even if they did not, as long as she could use weapons and wear equipment, she would still be a ridiculously OP Legendary Pet.
Jiaojiao narrowed her eyes. “Feathershine isn’t a really nice name, shall we give her a different one? I rmend Yiyi.”
“Hmpch, hmpch...”
As though she heard Jiaojiao’s words, little Feathershine opened her eyes and rolled them at Jiaojiao before turning aroundzily and going back to sleep.
It looked like she was not particrly fond of the name Yiyi.
Li Yi thought it over and gave little Feathershine a new name.
It was Dolly!
Feathershine’s name became Dolly, and Dolly seemed to bepletely aware of the change as well. She just slept soundly in Li Yi’s palm.
The Hunter Goddess returned to the Orange Quality Bow, after which Li Yi and Jiaojiao watched Dolly sleep for a long time before he carefully put her back into the Pet Pane Dimension.
Over there, she could rest uninterrupted.
Li Yi said with augh, “Looks like I’ll have to keep some Cuisines on me from now on.”
The lifestyle ss Cook enabled one to cook all sorts of monster meats into delicious meals. Anyone could learn this skill, and it was easy to train as well. As long as he had a good supply of monster flesh and bones, he could keep leveling up the ss.
Jiaojiao pinched Li Yi’s chin flirtatiously, tilting her head. “Come, fight a boss with me!”

“You freak, if your ATK is so high, why aren’t you leading us to kill the Demon Gods?”
The Fourth and Fifth Demon Gods had already fallen to Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut, so now all the yers on the Pantheon Continent have turned their sights to the Third Demon God.
Li Yi smiled mysteriously. “When I reach Level 190, I’ll bring you to fight it without you even asking.”
He had been grinding levelstely so that he could defeat the Third Demon God. He had not meant to lose the Fourth and Fifth Demon Gods’ first kills, and this time, he did not want any more nasty surprises.
Besides, now that the Evil God Summoning Scroll was 20%plete, it stated that it needed a Material Quality 80 Void Energy Shard. The Demon God bosses had the highest drop rate for these things.
Ever since her throne was usurped, Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut had disappeared from the public eye. It was not that she had quit ying Pantheon, it was just that she was keeping an extremely low profile, casting aside everyone else and running around the Foreignd instead.
When most of the yers had just arrived at Sin City, Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut had already reached the Third Demon God. However, her level was too low, so she tried and failed to defeat it a few times. As a result, she had to give it up for now, so she ended up leveling solo near the Foreignd Rift.
Any and all yers who attempted to attack the Third Demon God before they reached Level 190 did not make it back alive. There was simply no way they could seed.
Unlike the other Demon Gods, the Third Demon God had an ultimate skill called Apocalyptic ck Light. Only yers that were at Level 190 or above could learn the Level 190 skill to evade it.
Li Yi split up from Jiaojiao and teleported to the Newbie Vige, where he learned Beginner-level Cuisine. After that, he took a useless nk old bow and went outside the Newbie Vige to kill Small Wild Boars for their flesh.
There were Intermediate- and Advanced-level Cuisines avable at the Auction House, and they were not expensive either. However, there were no low-grade meat ingredients for one very simple reason. Most yers had leveled up plenty by now, and not many chose to focus on Cuisines from the very beginning. Low-grade meat was cheap and sales were few and far between, so very few yers hunted these things professionally. If he wanted it, he would have to farm it himself.
“Looking for meat, 10 Silver Coins for a batch. I’ll take as many as you have!”
Li Yi sted out a message in the Regional Channel as he farmed them. Right now, he would take any bit he could; after all, it would save him some time.
After spending more than three hours on this, Li Yi had obtained more than 300 chunks of Small Wild Boar Meat. It was enough for him to go straight to being an Intermediate Cook.
Li Yi set up a firece and began to cook.

“Come out, Dolly!”
Li Yi waved his hand, and the chubby, fair, naked Dolly appeared on his palm.

Dolly’s arms were wrapped around herself, and there was even a sparkling liquid flowing from the corner of her mouth. She was sound asleep.
“This is a Legendary Pet?”
Li Yi was annoyed but amused at the same time. After all, all of his current pets could be summoned as and when he liked, and none of them had ever been thiszy.
Li Yi picked up a piece of Roasted Wild Boar Meat and brought it closer to Dolly.

Dolly snored from her throat, but then her adorable little nose took a deep breath, and she actually raised her head even though she was asleep, dragging her limp body toward the meat...
Li Yi moved the meat upward, and Dolly’s head followed it, up and up. When she could no longer go any higher, she finally whined resentfully and opened her eyes. With a shake of her wings, she wrapped the meat in her embrace.

Dolly demolished therge chunk of roast meat in an instant.

Just then, an Adult Wild Boar walked toward them and lowered its head, charging straight at Li Yi.
Li Yi had been roasting meat in a farming site, so there were many Adult Wild Boars wandering around.
Li Yi just lifted his hand, and the Adult Wild Boar was down and out.
For sessfully killing an Adult Wild Boar, Li Yi earned 1 EXP.
He then checked Dolly and saw that her EXP had not increased at all. It was still at 0/100.
“Killing monsters won’t give her EXP?”
Li Yi paused for a moment and then put the greedy Dolly as well as the dozen pieces of Roasted Meat onto the floor. Drawing his nk bow, he unleashed shots in all directions.
Over twenty Adult Wild Boars copsed and Li Yi earned 23 EXP, but when he checked Dolly again, he saw that her EXP had not changed at all.
“You’re kidding, right?”
When he realized that Dolly did not receive any EXP, Li Yi’s high spirits instantly plummeted.
If she did not gain EXP, did that not mean she would never level up?
In that case, what could such a small Legendary Pet do except sleep?
Li Yi felt a headacheing on.
He waved at Dolly, who was stuffing herself. “Dolly,e here!”
“Squeak!”
Dolly held her Roasted Meat and shook her head determinedly, refusing to go to him.
Li Yi was exasperated. Now he finally knew what they meant when they said Dolly’s nature was Spoiled.
After giving it some thought, Li Yi summoned the female Dwarf Wizard that he had most recently hired, Pam. He then ordered her to use the Orange Quality Staff and kill the Wild Boars nearby.
Using a hired hand to kill monsters in the wild reduced the amount of EXP yers would get, as these mercenaries could not fight forever, either. Once they went past their time limit, they would be automatically dismissed.
Li Yi had Snickersnee forge three Orange Quality Weapons. He gave the Shieldsword to Unending Unmatched, the Orange Quality Shield to Alleria, and the final Orange Quality Staff to Pam.
The Orange Quality Staff was called Madivon’s Ultimate Arcane Scepter. As the name suggested, this staff was most useful to Arcane Wizards, among which the female Dwarf Wizard Pam was an expert.
“Bam! Bam! Bam!”
Armed with the Orange Quality Staff, Pam kept using Arcane Burst over and over again. The Adult Wild Boars around then died by the dozen, and Li Yi began to receive EXP faster.
Since Li Yi’s level was too high, he would still only receive 1 EXP per kill. The same went for Pam.
Unlike the Panda Fighter and Alleria, Pam’s level was not fixed. Instead, it would increase as they killed more monsters, which was why Li Yi was willing to waste an Orange Quality Staff on her.
It was not easy to get Pam to Worship him, and even that was made simpler because Li Yi knew the Defiants’ Confederation members well. Otherwise, it would never have been so easy.

While Pam was off killing boars everywhere, Dolly finished eating, patted her round belly in satisfaction, and pped her tiny wings so that she could return to Li Yi’s palm, where she fell asleep.
