"GRRHH... Come on Kai, you need to find a safe place first and get first aid..." Kaizoku crawled back to safety.
He continued crawling toward the long corridor he had passed through before. Kaizoku looked back, watching Sylphy still fighting against thousands of human skeleton soldiers.
"I hope you can hold on, Sylphy."
Kaizoku kept crawling through the dark corridor until he saw a familiar door. "That door... Ah... I wonder what happened to that man, I''m sorry we left you."
Trying to stand with his right hand, Kaizoku finally managed to get up although he looked very weak.
Opening the door revealed an empty room with a large hole in the wall, the same hole where Kaizoku and Sylphy first emerged from the strange cave.
"Heh, seems like that man went into the cave. Well, I hope he''s alright." Kaizoku looked around hoping to find first aid supplies.
Seeing a first aid logo on the right wall, Kaizoku quickly tried to walk toward it.
Opening it, Kaizoku only found long thin bandages. "Huh? Just bandages? No other choice."The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Taking the long bandages, he walked to the mirror.
Kaizoku removed his hand from his left eye. Upon opening it, Kaizoku saw his pupil had turned white, likely blind...
Kaizoku also noticed strange red-green fluids leaking from his left eye. "Eww... This is really disgusting, and painful."
With a heavy heart, Kaizoku covered his left eye with the long bandages. Although pain still enveloped him, Kaizoku forced himself to endure it.
After everything was done, Kaizoku opened his right eye again. "Heh... At least it''s protected from dirty air for now."
Kaizoku smiled slightly at the mirror. "Is that all you got, Kai? Why are you so weak and soft. Now you only have one eye left, how you gonna deal with it."
"I regret thinking this world wasn''t terrifying."
Kaizoku walked weakly to the nearest bed and lay down to rest, hoping Sylphy would still be holding on until the end.
While resting, Kaizoku couldn''t stop worrying about Sylphy''s safety. "I''m sorry Sylphy, I can''t help you right now. I hope you alright until... OR at least after I recover from this, I don''t want dissapoint anyone yet."
Tears falling, Kaizoku tried to forget by attempting to take a nap.
With pain and worry constantly forcing Kaizoku to stay awake, Kaizoku tried to think positively, as positively as possible.
"Come on Kai... Sleep, SLEEP!" Kaizoku hit his head repeatedly, intending to force himself to sleep.
Eventually, Kaizoku tired himself out and fell asleep without realizing it.
Kaizoku woke up in his dream, or was it somewhere else? Kaizoku felt this place wasn''t a dream, it felt too real...
Looking around, there was only darkness, with a small white light glowing beneath his feet.
Kaizoku seemed to remember this place, the same place he was in after fainting while fighting Thomas.
"Hello... Anyone... Is anyone there...?" Kaizoku''s voice echoed throughout the place.
Suddenly a voice was heard from all directions. "Ah... You have come, I''ve been waiting for you."
"That voice, it sounds familiar."
Kaizoku remembered the voice, the same one from when he fainted, the same female voice.
"You!? The same person from when I fainted... What do you want now?" said Kaizoku with an angry face.
"Calm down, hero... I''m here only to help you. You just need to listen to me, and you will become stronger than before. Trust me, I only want to unlock your true potential."
