After she left, Nathaniel stayed in the vi like Lucinda had suggested, but he remained busy.
He still had house chores to do.
He took a medicine for a cold and worked into the afternoon.

Nathaniel went downstairs to the Living room and to the garden.
When he opened the door to the garden, he saw Sonny walking over with Lonnie who just came from Startle.
