“Do you have any cigarettes?” he asked in a hoarse voice.

He needed something to distract himself.

Lonnie was a little surprised by the unusual request.

    However, he readily nodded.

    “Yes, I do.”

He immediately reached into his pants pocket and pulled out his pack of cigarettes.

He was however hesitant and didn’t give it to Nathan.

“Sir, you have smoked too much recently.

    What will you tell Mrs.

    Payne when shees back?”

Frowning, Nathan stretched out his hand impatiently.

    “Just give it to me.”

Lonnie was right, Lucinda didn’t allow him to smoke.

But he couldn’t help it right now.

Without his wife keeping an eye on him, he just wanted to smoke.

If Lucinda really didn’t want him to smoke, she should show up.

He would then take her home and she could punish him.

He would dly let her beat him or stay on his knees as punishment.

Lucinda had been missing for eight days already, and he realized he even missed her punishment devices.

Two dayster, Siena still hadn’t woken up after the stic surgery.

When police from the National Security Bureau arrived, Siena was confirmed dead after emergency treatment was unsessful.

    Nathan was furious.

He suspected that Cory was behind Siena’s death.

Cory had been able to kill her right on the operating table.

Two units of officials from the National Security Bureau were deployed to investigate the matter.

That same afternoon, Siena’s autopsy report came out.

There was a piece of yellow paper in Siena’s hand, but her curled fingers suggested that the piece of paper had been stuffed into her hand after she lost consciousness.
