?
After a moment''s silence, Theodore said, "Don''t tell my girlfriend about this for now."
"Of course, Mr. Spencer."
"I have some things to attend to. I''lle for the biopsy once I''m done with that."
He had to settle things regarding Sebastian.
After leaving the doctor''s office and on the way back to Aurora, Theodore bumped into Rosalie.
They were walking along the same corridor and were about ten yards apart as they looked at each other.
After a long time, Rosalie continued walking on as if she hadn''t seen him and was about to brush past him. There wasn''t much to say between them.
''Say a proper goodbye to Sebastian," Theodore suddenly said.ConTEent bel0ngs to N?v(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
Theodore''s words made Rosalie furrow her brows. She looked up at him and asked, "What do you mean by that?" ''Sebastian''s going to jail. You two don''t have much time left with each other."
Rosalie''s face stiffened. "Why is he going to jail?"
"He broke into my house with his bodyguards to try to kill Aurora and I. Trespassing private property while armed and attempted murder are all serious crimes. I''ve decided to call the police on him. I''ve gotten awyer, too. He can''t run this time."
''Theodore Spencer, didn''t we turn the page on that incident? Why are you calling the police on him now?"
Rosalie''s dark face made Theodore smile bitterly.
''Things aren''t over yet. If I don''t do this, he''ll try the same thing again next time."
''Seb was a little rash at that time, but he wasn''t really intent on killing you. Why..."
"Rose," Theodore cut her off. "Why do you only trust him and not me?"
Rosalie scoffed.
''Theodore Spencer, why do you always only trust Cynthia and not me? Why do you only trust Aurora and not me? Don''t you know the reason? Let me tell you: because there''spletely no trust between the two of us! Our decade-long rtionship is worthless. It''s nothing but a farce. Things had to be so ugly for me to see that our decade-long rtionship was nothing. People with true affinity for each other have trust despite knowing each other for mere days."
The worst thing about their rtionship is thepleteck of trust. Perhaps that was the cause of things between them turning out like this.
Had they trusted each other right from the beginning, Theodore wouldn''t have asked for a divorce. Instead, he would have bravely told Rosalie that he loved her.
Had Rosalie trusted Theodore, she would have mustered up the courage to tell him that she was pregnant, even if he might ask for a divorce.
But he had another woman and wanted a divorce. What was the point of her using a child to keep him by her side? He destroyed her trust in him.
Theodore had nothing to say in response.
"Rose, I know you''ll hate me, but Sebastian is doomed to go to jail. I''m going to the police station right now." He lifted a thumb drive in his hand.
"This contains proof of Sebastian breaking into my house."
With that, Theodore made a move to leave.
Rosalie stopped him in his tracks.
"Are you really going to make Seb go to jail?" Although Rosalie didn''t understand thew of the country, she knew that trespassing on private property was a serious crime. "He was just anxious over me at that time.""
"Do you really think that''s it?"
"Of course. What else could it be?"
''Sebastian really wanted to kill me."
''Theodore, you wanted to kill him in the past, too. You wanted him dead. Sebastian just had no evidence against you, so he couldn''t send you to jail."
"Rosalie Young. Until now, do you still think that I was guilty of what happened to Sebastian?"
