"What''s this?" Rosalie looked up as shock registered in her eyes. In disbelief, she stammered, "You...you have a tumor in your stomach?"
She felt as though she had been struck by lightning.
Theodore immediately snatched the report back and turned to leave. However, she grabbed his arm.
"Wait, exin yourself! What''s with this report? You''re ill?"
"None of your business." Theodore tightened his grip over the report. ''Focus on Sebastian instead. What happens to me is none of your business.
Theodore ruthlessly shook her hand away.
"Ah!"
Rosalie stumbled to the floor. Theodore immediately rushed toward her and helped her up.
"Rose," he called out to her as he helped her up.
Rosalie immediately grabbed his arm. "Tell me, what''s going on? Did you go for a check-up before when the doctor told you not to drink anymore? Did you drink against his advice? Is that why there''s a tumor in your stomach? Is that it?"
Theodore suppressed the sorrow in his heart. "Why care about me? What does my life or death have anything to do with you?"
"How does it not have anything to do with me? You''re...
The father of my child, Rosalie thought in her heart.
But the words never left her mouth.ConTEent bel0ngs to N?v(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
How could she tell him that now?
Aurora was now pregnant with his child.
"You''re Grandma''s only grandson. If something untoward were to happen to you, what would she do?"
A sliver of hope had crept up Theodore''s heart when he saw how worried Rosalie looked. When he heard her mention Grandma, however, he smiled bitterly.
"Yeah, I''m her only grandson, but what business is that of yours? Go back to Sebastian. It''s none of your business whether I live or die."
After helping Rosalie up. Theodore made a move to leave.
"Don''t go! Theo, what are you going to do next? Are you going for a biopsy? Tell me, please!" Rosalie cried. Theodore sighed. "I''ll undergo a biopsy and other tests to confirm if the tumor is benign or malignant."
"When will the tests begin? Right now? I''ll go with you."
Theodore was moved to hear that Rosalie wanted to apany him, but very soon, he said coldly, "Aren''t you going to keep Justinpany?"
"He''s fine, he''s woken up. Theo, if...if the tumor is benign, that''s well and good. But if it''s malignant, then..." "Rosalie, enough."
Theodore shot Rosalie a pained look. Her worried expression and tender actions pierced his heart.
He knew that she no longer was his. Their marriage was over.
However, he couldn''t stop himself from missing her and their past.
When Rosalie showed her concern for him, it made the pain in his heart even more stark. Endless pain filled his eyes, his brows furrowed and his face turned pale.
