"Rose isn''t someone else. She''s her own person. If you truly care, please don''t hurt her. She needs to remain in Melrine for at least three more months. Who can guarantee your enemies won''t go looking for her?" Theodore pointed out.
Justin clutched his chest. He could feel his wound throbbing with pain as sweat beaded on his forehead.
"Theodore Spencer. If you care so much about her, why did you hurt her back then?"
"I''ve paid the price for hurting her by losing her. But if one day Rose gets hurt or loses her life because of you, would you be able to pay the price for that? Even if you die, so what?" Theodore said.
Justin''s face turned frosty.
"I''m telling you these because I trust you understand. Rose is very kind and she''ll treat anyone who treats her well ten times better. That is why she treats you very well, but don''t take that as a reason to hurt her. Even if you don''t wish to hurt her, you can''t stop others from doing so."
"Scram!" Justin yelled. "Otherwise, don''t me me for being nasty. I might be injured, but I''m more than capable of killing you right now."
Theodore stuffed his hands in his pockets, standing tall and straight as he looked at Justin.
"You''re a smart man. I trust you''ll make the right decision."
With that, he turned to leave.
Justiny weakly on the bed and sighed. He stared nkly ahead as his vision lost focus.
After Rosalie''s afternoon sses, she went back to the hospital to visit Justin again. She came every day, whether rain or shine.
Even before she arrived at Justin''s ward, she bumped into Theodore outside.RêAdt??St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
Theodore had his biopsy yesterday, but they had to wait for three to five days for the results. It probably wasn''t out yet, so they had nothing to talk about between them.
She was prepared to just brush past him, but she noticed the bruise on the corner of his lips.
"What happened? How did you get injured?" she asked. The corner of his lips was bruised and even swollen.
"I identally fell and hurt myself," Theodore replied calmly.
Rosalie found his exnation doubtful. "You identally fell and bumped just the corner of your lips?"
It clearly looked as though he was beaten up.
Who would dare to beat Theodore up? Sebastian had gone back to Blencalgo, so he couldn''t have done it. "That''s exactly what happened," Theodore said tly.
"Alright, then."Rosalie didn''t want to pursue the matter further anyway. "You must remember to tell me once your biopsy results are out. Even if you don''t tell me, I''ll go ask the doctor. Whatever it is, I must know the results."
Even though they were no longer husband and wife, even though reconciliation was not possible between them... No matter what, she
couldn''t pretend as though the tumor in his stomach didn''t exist.

They had known each other for 11 years, after all. There was no way they could beplete strangers.
"I know. I''ll tell you," Theodore said.
Rosalie nodded. "How is Ms. Payne?"
"Just like that. She''s still waiting for

Rosalie didn''t know what to say tofort him. It seemed to her as though Aurora was very important to Theodore.
However, something felt strange. Cynthia needed a heart transnt before, and now, Aurora needed one, too.
Why did Theodore always manage to find women who needed heart transnts? Was this a mere coincidence, or was there another reason? Just then, a phone rang.
Theodore pulled his phone out of his pocket and looked at the notification before answering the call.
