Sebastian knew that nothing he did could salvage the situation. Rosalie wouldn''t rest until he signed them.
He thought he could buy some time, but all he had was Rosalie''s resolute and firm decision.
Sebastian eventually picked up the pen. "I can sign in, but I have a question to ask you."
"What is it?"
"You said that if I sign this, we can still be friends. Do you mean it?"
Rosalie nodded. "Yes, I do."
"That means we will still see each other and I can still see the baby, right?"
"As long as you don''t harass me and we remain ordinary friends, I won''t stop you from seeing the baby."
Sebastian''s care and affection for the baby were clear to her. She couldn''t bring herself to be so cruel to him.
"We''ll go back to being friends like we were before we got married, right?"
Rosalie nodded. She just wanted a divorce right now. Anything was eptable to her as long as she could divorce Sebastian.
After a moment''s hesitation, Sebastian signed his name on the papers.
Rosalie heaved a sigh of relief and picked up the document. Seeing his signature on it, she said, "Thank you."
She thought of the possibility of Sebastian pestering her, so she didn''t expect him to sign the papers so quickly. "Rose, you said that we can still be friends. That''s why I signed it. I hope you won''t go back on your word."
Rosalie nodded. "I won''t."
After the papers were signed, they headed to the clerk''s office and went through the divorce procedures before they were finally considered officially divorced.
Standing at the entrance of the clerk''s office with the marriage certificate that was stamped as invalid, Rosalie couldn''t help but feel that time had passed by so quickly.
Sebastian stared nkly at the invalid marriage certificate in his hands.
"Seb, you''re a free man now," Rosalie said.
"You''re free too. Will you and Theodore still..."
"Don''t mention his name," Rosalie said, cutting him off. "Things are impossible between him and I. Even after divorcing you, I won''t reconcile with him. I didn''t divorce you just so I could go back to being with him."
Sebastian doubted Rosalie''s words, but he said with a faint smile, "I got that. I won''t mention his name again."
"I''ll be heading back. I hired
someone to watch the baby and

have to rush back to him now, you should head back, too." With that, Rosalie turned to leave.
"Can I still keep in contact with you?" Sebastian asked.
Rosalie turned around and said with a smile, "Sure."
The morose look on Sebastian''s face gave way to a smile.
After Rosalie disappeared from sight, the smile on his face froze and he walked back to the car with an icy expression.
After driving home, he walked into the hall despondently.
Yvonne approached him and greeted, "Seb, you''re back. How did your meeting with Rose go?"
"We''re divorced," Sebastian said. He hung his head, his eyes empty.
"Divorced?" Yvonne didn''t know whether to feel happy or sad at the news.
"You must be happy now," Sebastian said as he nced at Yvonne. "I''ve divorced my cousin." "Seb, I''m sorry."
et
"There''s no need to apologize to me," Sebastian said with a chuckle. "Thankfully, I didn''t do anything wrong. But don''t hide something like this from me in the future
Yvonne nodded. "I got it. I won''t hide anything from you from now on."
"Go tell Chris that I''m divorced. I''m tired and I need some rest."
Sebastian walked up the stairs, his shoulders hunched over.

After returning to his room, Sebastianid on the bed and stared nkly at the ceiling.
"All of you want to see me suffer, don''t you?" His lips curled up in a wicked smile. "In that case, all of you shall suffer."
So what if he and Rosalie were divorced?
Divorce wasn''t the end.
This was just the beginning.
