"Sydney has already signed on it. Mr. Spencer, please do so too," Christopher said.
Wesley couldn''t believe it, but it was indeed Sydney''s signature and handwriting on the divorce agreement.
"How could this be? How could it?!"
With a loud rip, Wesley agitatedly tore the divorce papers into two.
Everything seemed to be within Christopher''s expectations.
"I don''t believe a bloody word you said!" Wesley stood up in a huff. "I want to see her! If you don''t let me see her, I''ll turn nasty! Where is she right now? Tell me!"
"Dad, don''t be like this," Rosalie said as she stood up. "Calm down. Let''s talk things through."
Wesley shoved Rosalie aside. "What is there to talk about?!"
Rosalie lost her footing and fell. Thankfully, the couch was right behind her and she copsed into it.
"Dad, what are you doing?!" Theodore barked. "I know you''re angry, but why attack Rose? She didn''t do anything wrong!"
He rushed to Rosalie''s side. "Rose, are you hurt?"
Rosalie shook her head. "I''m fine."
She then said to Christopher, "Mr. Jackson, the divorce is between the two of them. They have to talk about it face-to-face. It''s not appropriate for you to deliver the divorce agreement."
Christopher nodded in agreement. "You''re right, but she doesn''t want to see him right now. I can call her and you can tell her about it."
Christopher pulled his phone out of his pocket, then dialed Sydney''s number. Very soon, she answered the call.
He switched the call to hands-free mode and said, "Syd, I have you on speaker mode. Tell them about it, they don''t really believe me."
Wesley snatched the phone from Christopher''s hands. "Syd, what exactly is going on here?"
"I want you to sign the divorce agreement. I don''t want to be with you anymore. I have a new boyfriend now. We should have divorced each other long ago, anyway," Sydney said.
"Syd, we should talk about it in person. Let''s meet, shall we? Where are you right now?"
"I don''t want to see you right now. I know that once I see you, you''ll get agitated and I won''t be able to talk to you. I really don''t want to drag this out any further."
"Syd," Wesley pleaded, "our son is already so old..."
"Since you know that our son is old
enough, you should be more
decisive about it," Sydney cut him off ruthlessly. "I trust Theo won''t stop this. Our unhappy marriage can''t hold out any longer."
Wesley''s body shook slightly as he turned to ask Theodore. "Theo, talk to Mom, quick."
"Mom, are you safe right now?" Theodore asked.
"Don''t worry, I''m very safe right now.
I''mpletely fine," Sydney said.

"Theo, I''ve let you down. I can''t continue diving my days with your father. I''m sure you''re old enough to understand what I feel. Even if divorce your father, you''ll always be my son. Our mother-son rtionship will never change."
Theodore sighed, and turned to say to his father, "Dad, since Mom has already said so, I''m sure she''s very safe right now. Let''s not make things difficult for her, alright?"
"What do you mean by that?" Wesley was getting more and more agitated. "Are you agreeing to our divorce too?!"
"Mom has wanted to divorce you since a long time ago, and has asked you many times about it."
"So what? If she wants a divorce, we have to at least meet so she can tell it to my face. What is the meaning of this?" Wesley was starting to lose his mind.
????
"Did you agree to it when she asked you in person?" Theodore pressed. "Dad, you were the one who cheated on her. You had an affair. Mom should have divorced you a long time ago. She''s been kind enough to allow this to drag on for so long. You have no right to criticize her. Think about it-didn''t you only bring her pain in your rtionship with her? If you truly love her, let her go. Don''t let her keep being in pain." Content protected by N?v/el(D)rama.Org.
