Wesley finally felt relieved after confirming that the number was right.
"Alright, let''s keep in contact."
Whether Yerick was his son or not, he genuinely liked that boy. Whatever it was, Yerick was J''s son.
He had also let J down. He didn''t expect her to have passed away such a long time ago, and wondered where her body was buried.
Wesley wanted to visit her, but didn''t dare to ask Yerick about it directly. This was their first time meeting, after all. It sounded strange for him to ask where his mother was buried.
Before he got to the bottom of the matter, he had to keep a low profile.
"Alright, Mr. Spencer. I''ll be off now. Goodbye."
Yerick bade him goodbye, looking every bit the polite and bright young man he was.
"Goodbye," Wesley said as he waved his hand and saw Yerick off.
After Yerick walked off, Wesley let out a long sigh.
He nced at the strand of hair tightly tucked in between two fingers and got into the car. He wrapped it in a piece of tissue and put it aside carefully, fearing that he might lose it. Then, he made a call to a doctor he knew.
"Dr. Zabel, I need a favor from you. I need to do a paternity test."
Rosalie went to fetch Steve home.
When they reached home, Rosalie held Steve in her arms for a long time. The thought of Wesley and Sydney''s rtionship upset her.
It also made her think of her rtionship with Theodore.
"Stevie, after you grow up, don''t walk in your grandfather and father''s footsteps. If you love a woman, love her well, and don''t be fickle. Don''t get married and then think..."
Rosalie sighed.This belongs to N?velDrama.Org.
"Forget it. I''ll tell you about this after you grow up. No matter what, don''t ever disappoint people who genuinely love you, and don''t ever hurt those who love you."
Just then, her phone rang. She picked her phone up and saw that it was Yvonne calling.
She immediately answered the call. "Hey, Vonnie."
"Rose, are you free tonight? Let''s have a meal. We haven''t met for a while."
"Yes, sure. I''m free tonight. Where do you want to go?" Rosalie asked.
"I''ll go to
up some cooking skills and want to
Sy thine our ce. I recently picked
O something. Where
stay right now?"
"Come over, then. What would you like to eat? I''ll get the groceries and you''ll cook."
Since Yvonne wanted to unt her skills, Rosalie would naturally give her the chance.
"I''ll grab the groceries on my way there. Just send me your address."
"Alright, I''ll do that."
After Rosalie hung up, she texted Yvonne her detailed address.
At around four in the afternoon, Rosalie''s doorbell rang. She immediately opened the door with her baby in her arms. However, when Rosalie opened the door, Yvonne wasn''t the only one she saw. Sebastian was right behind her.
Rosalie was stunned to see him.
"Rose, I''vee with my brother," Yvonne said. "Look, we brought so much food."
Yvonne and Sebastian were both carrying bags.
Rosalie gave Yvonne a weak smile, feeling slightly awkward. "Vonnie, I thought you wereing alone."
"Seb knew about our dinner ns and wanted to join in. Can''t he?" Yvonne asked cautiously.
Rosalie nced at Sebastian, but
before she could say anything, Sebastian said, "Rose, if you
