Rosalie pondered for a moment. If Reba found out they slept in different rooms, she would probably kick up a fuss. Rosalie eventually nodded in agreement to avoid agitating Reba.
"Alright, then. Oh yes, what about Steve?"Please check at N/?vel(D)rama.Org.
"He''s in his own room," Zane said. "He''s sound asleep after drinking some milk. The servants will take care of him. Just get some rest and don''t worry about him."
Rosalie nodded. She was tired indeed.
After entering their room, Rosalie and Theodore exchanged nces, feeling slightly awkward.
"You can go wash up first," Rosalie said.
"It''s fine, you go ahead first. There''s a set of clean clothes inside. I''ll wash up after you''re done," Theodore said.
Rosalie was very tired and didn''t want to overthink things. "Alright, then. I''ll wash up first."
She entered the bathroom, shut the door, and locked it.
Theodore''s heart clenched when he heard Rosalie locking the door.
He experienced the pain of losing a precious treasure that he had at first. When they used to be married, they often showered together and he could have his way with her. Yet now, they were strangers who were only once so close to each other.
Theodore sighed and opened the door. He left the room, wanting to see the baby.
Once he exited the room, Aurora approached him. "Theo, are you sleeping with her in the same room? How could you?!"
Theodore was worried Reba might hear Aurora, so he grabbed her arm and pulled her away.
When they came to a quiet corner, he let her go and said, "Aurora, Grandma thinks that Rose and I are still married, so we have to sleep in the same room. Don''t shoot your mouth off before Grandma."
"If you''re worried about me shooting
my mouth off, you shouldn''t be

sleeping in the same room as her! You can sleep in separate rooms and pretend toe out from the same room tomorrow morning. You two are divorced, after all. Aman and a woman spending the night together in a bedroom..."
"Aurora," Theodore said, cutting her off. "I have something to tell you." "What is it?"
"I''m very sorry for what I did to you before, taking you as her
recement tofort myself. I''m very thankful for what you did for me, but, Kcan''t keep treating you that. It''s not fair to you. I think you''ll be able to find your own happiness. I''m sure there''s a man out there who will genuinely love you and dote on you, instead of taking you as a recement. But I''m not that man."
Aurora''s head buzzed, as if it were on the verge of exploding. Her eyes widened as she looked at him in disbelief, thinking she must have heard him wrongly.
She looked at him in shock and said hoarsely, "What are you saying?"
"I''ll give you a sum of money so you won''t need to worry about food or clothes. Take it as a form ofpensation. From now on..."
"Don''t speak any further!" Aurora said, wanting to cut him off.
Theodore furrowed his brow. "Aurora, I must..."
"Enough," Aurora said as she took a step back. She suddenly chuckled. "How could you say that at a time like this? Are you angry at me? Do you think I''m being unreasonable? I''m sorry, I was wrong. I can

understand why you and Rosalie are sharing a room. It''s fine, I''m turning in. I''m very tired, too."
Aurora turned to leave.
Theodore grabbed her arm. "Aurora, I meant what I said just now. Even if you try to escape, I''ll say it again next time."
"Then we''ll leave it till next time. Theo, you''re just being rash because you''re seeing Rosalie now. It''s why you said all that. Give it some time, and Grandma might lose her memories and not recognize her again. She''ll leave. At the end of the day, I''m the only one you''ll ever have."
