Aurora and Angie watched as Reba tumbled down the stairs, almost letting out a scream in shock. They instinctively reached out to pull her back, but it was already toote.
The two women stood at the top of the stairs, pletely at a loss.
Aurora immediately used Angie. "You pushed her!"
"Me?!" Angie retorted, her voice sharp. "It wasn''t me! You were the one who pushed her! I was only trying to help you, and now you''re ming me for it!"
The tension between them escted, and it seemed they were about to turn on each other.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Aurora knew she couldn''t afford to argue with Angie at this critical moment. Fighting over who had pushed Reba down the stairs would only lead to their mutual downfall.
"Angie," Aurora said, grabbing her hand firmly. "What''s done is done. We have to cover this up, or we''re both finished. We''re in this together now, so don''t let anything slip."
Angie wiped the cold sweat from her brow. "What do we do now?"
Aurora thought quickly and said, "Listen carefully. If anyone asks, we heard a noise and came out to check. That''s when we saw Reba falling down the stairs. It has nothing to do with us. Got it?"
"Yes, yes." Angie nodded vigorously. "I got it."
The two of them agreed on their story and resolved to keep the incident hidden.
Whether it was Angie or Aurora who had pushed Reba down the stairs no longer mattered. They were both involved.
Now, they were in the same boat. If the boat sank, they would both go down with it.
Angie still felt uneasy. "Aurora, if Reba died, it''d be over and done with. But she didn''t. Instead, she''s in aa. What if she wakes up and talks?" "That''s..." Aurora was filled with fear. "Yes, what if she tells someone? Honestly, at her age, after falling down the stairs, she should have just died." "We need a n in case she wakes up and reveals the truth. We can''t admit anything. Just say she has dementia and was hallucinating," Angie suggested.
"What if Theo doesn''t believe us? And what about Rosalie? She''ll be there, stirring up trouble," Aurora said anxiously. "If Reba really wakes up, it''ll be terrible for us."
"So, what do we do now?" Angie asked. "We can''t exactly kill her, can we?"
Angie suddenly noticed the cold glint in Aurora''s eyes and eximed in shock, You''re not seriously thinking about killing her, are you? But how
would we even do that"

Aurora gritted her teeth. "No matter what, we can''t let Reba wake up and expose.us. Angie, you need to remember-we''re on the same side now. Whatever we do, we have to stick together. If this gets out, we''re both doomed. Do you understand?"
Angie swallowed nervously. "I understand."
After reaching an agreement, the two of them left the scene.
Cynthia had been hiding nearby, staying out of sight. Once they were gone, she stared after their retreating figures, the corners of her mouth curling into a cold smile.
So, it turned out Reba''s fall down the stairs was these two women''s doing.
This just made things even more interesting.
Aurora made up an excuse to leave Angie and went to find Yerick.
Yerick had been the one advising her from behind the scenes. They had a special way of contacting each other.
When she finally met Yerick, Aurora was visibly agitated.
"You have to help me," she said urgently.
