Chapter 1174

    ?

Rosalie drove into the underground parking lot. After parking the car, she took the elevator upstairs. As she approached her house, she heard an argumenting from inside.

"Yerick, are you trying to stir up trouble again?"

"I''m not stirring up trouble. It was you who started yelling at me first!"

"Brat, if you''ve got guts, let''s settle this one-on-one! Don''t think I won''t hit you just because you''re younger."

Rosalie frowned. Just as she was about to enter and scold them, another voice interrupted.

"If you two keep arguing, I''ll knock both of you out."

    It was Justin''s voice.

Sebastian sneered. "Justin, what business is it of yours to meddle?"

"You fighting here could upset Rose, so it''s not meddling. Teaching you both a lesson wouldn''t take any effort at all."

"If youy a finger on me, Rose will be mad at you!" Yerick retorted angrily.

"Whether she''s mad at me or not, I''ll still have hit you two. It wouldn''t be a loss for me. Go ahead, test me if you don''t believe it."

At that moment, Rosalie rang the doorbell. The three men rushed to open the door. Standing outside, she gave them a cold re before stepping inside.

"Are you all looking to fight again?"

"Rose, we weren''t going to fight. We were just arguing, that''s all. We wouldn''t actually fight," Yerick said obediently, quickly shifting the topic. "How did it go with Theodore just now? Did he bully you?"

"No, he left. How''s dinnering along?"

"We''ll get to it right away. We''ll start now," Yerick said, dashing into the kitchen like an arrow.

They had spent so much time arguing that they hadn''t even started cooking or washing the vegetables.

Rosalie sighed, feeling a headacheing on. "I''ll cook."

"There''s no need," Sebastian said, stepping in front of her. "I''ll do it. I''ll start washing the vegetables now."

"If you go to the kitchen, you''ll just

start arguing again. I don''t want to hear it anymore. My head hurts. If it''s too much trouble, you might well all leave. Go ahead, argue and fight to your heart''s content somewhere else. I can''t deal with this anymore."

Sebastian felt a pang of panic at Rosalie''s tone of resignation.

"Rose, I promise from now on, I won''t argue with Yerick anymore."

"You''ve said that many times before," Rosalie replied, exasperated. "Do as you wish. If you want to fight, then fight."

She turned to Justin. "How''s Steve?"

"He''s in the room," Justin said.

"I''ll go check on him. You all handle dinner. Argue or fight as much as you want-I''m done caring."

Rosalie walked into the room, exhausted.

She sat by the cradle, gently rocking it. Steve was awake, his attention fixed on the small toys hanging above him.

"Steve, these grown men aren''t half as well-behaved as you, a little baby," she said softly.

In the kitchen, the men had stopped arguing and were quietly preparing dinner, even cooperating with one another.

Rosalie checked on them a few times and, seeing their harmony, finally breathed a sigh of relief.

She knew they likely still harbored

    resentment toward one another, but

    at

east in her presence, they were

willing to put on a show of civility, which she appreciated.

By eight o''clock, they had finally prepared dinner andid it out on the table.

    Rosalie smiled faintly.

These men, bustling about in the kitchen, had actually done a pretty good job.

When Rosalie came out, Sebastian and Yerick were vying to im credit for the dishes they had made, each insisting theirs were the best. Justin said nothing, showing no interest in boasting in front of Rosalie

"Alright, you both did great. There''s nothing to argue about. I''m starving-let''s eat," Rosalie said, putting an end to their squabbling.
