Chapter 1200

    ?

Justin drove Rosalie to the house she used to live in.

The location was quite secluded, and even the nearest bus stop was a 20-minute walk away.

That plot ofnd wasn''t valuable back then and Rosalie''s house was considered small. It was an old district with a five-floor building. There weren''t many people left living in the building.

There was someone who wanted to purchase the entire five-floor building. It was heard that he wanted to convert it into a condominium. He was ready topensate all residents at a price higher than the market.

Not long after the other residents sold off their apartments, they heard about the demolition ns and regretted their decision to sell their house. When they received money worth more than the apartment itself, they ended up not kicking up a fuss.

Yet, after so many years, the building remained standing, with a "To be demolished" sign hung across it. The sign was so weather-beaten, one could hardly make out the words on it.

The front gate was locked with rusty metal chains, making ess difficult.

Justin handed the baby to Rosalie. "Take him."

Right after Rosalie took the baby, he climbed over the wall into the district.

Rosalie was shocked. The wall was very high, yet Justin jumped over it so effortlessly.

Justin walked toward the metal gate and looked closely at it. The lock was rusty and difficult to unlock.

He looked around him and saw a door nearby. He walked toward it and saw that it wastched from inside, but it utched easily.Property belongs to N?vel(D)r/ama.Org.

After utching the door, he opened it effortlessly. Rosalie immediately walked around the district through the door Justin opened. Justin then shut the door and said, "Let''s head in."

    They headed upstairs.

Rosalie''s apartment was on the third floor.

When they arrived at the door, they found it tightly shut with a lock that waspletely rusted. Justin looked around them and confirmed that there was no one around before saying to Rosalie, "Rose, wait for me at the side."

Rosalie took a few steps back.

Justin then lifted a leg and kicked the door hard. His kick made a huge sound, but thankfully, no one was around.

“Justin, is your leg okay?" Rosalie was scared that he might break a bone.

"It''s fine," Justin reassured her. "I''ll head in to take a look."

Justin stepped into the apartment to check it out before waving a hand at Rosalie. "Come on in."

Rosalie walked into the living room. She felt such a strong sense of familiarity, she almost burst out crying.

This used to be her home. It wasn''t

big and quite run down, but it felt warm and homely. Yet now, all the furniture had been shifted away and it was empty aside from some junk and trash on the floor.

The wallpaper was covered with dirt and grime and a musty smell filled the apartment.

Justin opened the windows to let fresh air in.

"Justin, there''s nothing in here from what I can see. Could the bracelet still be here?" Rosalie didn''t have much hope.

It had been a long time since someone lived here. A thickyer of dust covered everything in here and the ce was filthy.

There was a chair by the side which Justin tried sitting on. It felt sturdy, so heid his jacket on it and said, "Rose, sit here for a while. I''ll help you look for the bracelet."

“Let me do it myself.” She felt bad making Justin do it for her.

Justin said with a smile, "It''s fine, I can do it faster than you can. Sit down with the baby, you can have your turn when I get tired." Rosalie nodded. "Alright, then."
