Chapter 1201

Both Renee and Liam looked for Joanne in every room, but even after ages of searching,

they couldn’t find the dismantling room Joanne was in.

Suddenly, they heard a distressed cry from the most secluded corner in the southeast.

“That sounds like Joanne!’ Renee gasped, her face going pale.

“Let’s go!” Liam held Renee’s hand tightly. They got rid of all the people who blocked their

path and ran towards the room the sound came from.

The dismantling room was guarded too, but before Liam could use the gun in his hand,

Renee kicked them away. She quickly picked up their weapons and shot the tightly closed

door of the dismantling room, forcing the door open.

The scene that greeted her was horrifying.

Joanne was strapped to an operating table with both sides of her waist cut open, and a man

in ab coat was about to reach into the wounds to remove Joanne’s kidneys. He looked up

at the sudden intrusion, and his eyes grew wide. ‘Who… Who are you?’

He took two steps back fearfully, holding out the scalpel in his hand threateningly. His hands

    were covered in blood.

“You… How dare you!” Renee roared, mad with rage. She aimed her gun at the two men in

“Joanne, hold on. You’re safe now…” Renee said to Joanne as she fought back tears. She

could not imagine what would have happened to Joanne if they were even a secondte.

Joanne smiled weakly as she looked up at Renee from the operating table.

“I didn’t expect you to be so pretty. Your eyes make me think of him— they’re eyes that can

tell a million stories. I won’t have any regrets since I can see such beautiful eyes before I

    die.”

“No, you won’t die. I won’t let anything happen to you.” Renee promised, grabbed one of the

two men inb coats, and pulled him to his feet. She then pressed her gun to his head and

ordered fiercely, ‘Til give you ten minutes to sew her injuries up. Anythingter than that,

and I’ll blow your brains out.”

The man held a needle and suture thread with shaky hands and whimpered, “It was her!

She didn’t want the anaesthesia, and asked us to be quick. We just wanted to grant her

    wish.”

“Cut the crap!” Renee pped the man hard and snarled, “Why don’t I sh your waist

without giving you anaesthesia and see how you like it? Do you want that?’

”N-No, please don’t! Well sew up her injuries now.” The man immediately started to sew up

Joanne’s injuries, and the sight of the needle passing through Joanne’s sh was ghastly.

Renee held Joanne’s hand and sobbed, “Joanne, hold on, it’ll be over soon. Scream if

    you’re in pain. It’s my fault I waste… I made you suffer.”

Joanne sweated profusely because of the excruciating pain. She then shook her head and

    said,

smiling, “I’m fine. I’ve experienced a lot of things more painful than this. I can take it.”

“I’ll take you away after this, and you’ll be reborn. Didn’t you say that my eyes looked

familiar? Do you want to see them again? Well, you should go and see them on your own…”

“I will. I’ll hold on but… I’m a little sleepy. I want to sleep. I’m so tired.’ Joanne’s voice grew

weaker, and she struggled to keep her eyes open.

Renee was scared out of her wits, and screamed at the man stitching Joanne’s wounds,

‘What did you do?! Why does she look so weak?
