    It was sarcastic.


    Amber admired her father, but he never took her seriously. At most, he regarded her as an inferior woman who could only support her husband and brought no value.

    "You''re still pleading for them? You''re so disappointing and useless!" Angry, Benjamin vented his wrath on Amber. "Tie her up! I want her to see how much those people care for her even though she begged for them!"
