"Jackie! Over here!"Content provided by N?velDrama.Org.
Before Gina could say a word, several middle-aged women were calling out to Jackie.
"Calm down, Jess. I''ll be right there. Excuse me,dies," Jackie replied, nodding at Gina and Helen with a smile as he left, not before whistling at Helen.
Gina watched as he left, not forgetting to tease Jackie''s father. "Hehe, Hardy. Your son is such a good kid."
"Hehe. He really has nothing going out for him aside from his silver tongue."
Hardy chuckled before turning toward Helen and asking tentatively, "So? What do you think, Helen? My son is something of a regional manager. I know you''re still close with your ex-husband, but the way your mom puts it... he doesn''t sound all that reliable." "Exactly, Helen," Gina chimed in. "Just see how eloquent Jackie is, unlike Frank, who''s always giving me a hard time."
"Stop it, Mom."
Helen shook her head exasperatedly. "Like I said, Frank is my husband, and I have no interest in other men."
"Oh, what a pity." Hardy sighed in obvious disappointment.
After all, if his son managed to tap into Helen''s deep pockets, would he and his son not be enjoying all the luxuries life had to offer?
Moreover, even if Helen made herself very clear, they had plenty of chances to turn things around.
If anything, he and his son were very good at this.
As Hardy turned and winked at his son from a distance, Jackie caught his cue and nodded with a smile.
"No way, Jess!" he eximed just then. "Helen Lane''s husband did what?! Tut, tut! How embarrassing! Pfft... It seems that this Frank Lawrence is just a gigolo, and a lousy one at that."
Jackie was really popr with middle-aged women-he had the looks, was lively, and knew how to tter them. As such, he effortlessly found out from them what had happened to Helen and Frank before they entered the wedding hall.
He turned and stared at Helen from a distance, his eyes shing with desire as he decided that he wanted her no matter what it took.
It was not just for the sake of Helen either-he would properly educate Frank on how to be a better gigolo.
Making up his mind right then, he excused himself and made a beeline out of the wedding hall, immediately finding a man sitting in a quiet corner, nonchntly eating his te of buffet food. en FindNovel
"That''s Frank Lawrence?"
Jackie grinned as he strode over and sat down in front of Frank unceremoniously. "Hello. Frank Lawrence, was it?"
"Yes. Who are you?" Frank asked uncertainty.
Jackie picked up the ss of water and sshed it on Frank''s face, baring his true colors as he red at Frank''s surprised and pathetic face. "Hmph!"
He snorted in disdain, rearing his chin proudly. "You have one chance! Cut off all contact with Helen Lane, because she''s now my target. Do you get it?!"
