"How dare you, Frank!"
Captain Podrick Daffey red at Frank as he stood on the balcony, hollering, "You murdered the Zamrimissioner! Not only were you found fleeing the crime scene, but you''ve returned to the city and taken a hostage?! Do you think you''re invincible?!"
"Release the hostage and surrender!"
"We will at least let you rest in one piece!"
"Yeah! Surrender!"
Downstairs, all the police officers and the members of the Martial Alliance were hollering at Frank thunderously.
"All of you, shut up!" Frank suddenly bellowed despite the hollering, abruptly silencing the rowdy martial artists.
Then, standing on the handrail and ring at the congested crowd below, he bellowed, "I have nothing to do with Geon Kramer''s death. I''ve been framed, and I now know who''s responsible, so calm down!"
"Calm down?! How?!"
Podrick waved his fists at Frank and bellowed, "Multiple witnesses—including myself-saw you in the room where themissioner died! And you''d still argue?!"
"That''s because none of you cared to look!"
Frank bellowed back, "You''re the one who called me in the middle of the night, saying that themissioner wanted to see me! But he was already dead by the time I got there, while you came in with perfect timing! So I dare say you''re among the ones plotting against me!"
"Plotting, you say?!"
Podrick smirked despite the many eyes watching and whipped out an exquisitely made dagger. "This dagger is called the Fang Dancer, and it''s a set of two! So why do you have one, while the other was found at the crime scene?! What do you have to say about that?!"
Frank''s eyes narrowed at the blood-soaked dagger as Podrick flung it on the ground.
Stanley was the one who had given him that dagger, saying that it was a token.
In reality, it was a murder weapon used to frame him, a decisive piece of evidence that he could not talk his way out of!
"What, you have nothing to say?"
Podrickughed coldly, folding his
arms before his chest as he chuckled. "What, are you now going to tell us that it isn''t yours? That someone gave it to you?!"
Frank narrowed his eyes-Podrick was actually right about that, as he was going to say that the dagger
was given to him by Stanley, whone
told him to murder the Zamri
commissioner Geon
However, it did not matter if anyone would believe him. Even if they did, would they also believe that Stanley had murdered Geon for no reason?
UMS
As such, the only question right now was whether Frank had actually murdered Geon. This is from N?velDrama.Org.
"The evidence and witnesses prove it!" Podrick bellowed. "How long are you going to drag this out?!"
At the same time, Stanley simply watched in a corner, folding his arms before his chest while smirking at Frank.
He was actually surprised that Frank was this stupid, trying to maintain his innocence against the mob with only his words. It was the dumbest move possible.
"What''s there to talk with scum like him?! Let''s just take him down already!"
"Exactly! We''ll take his head for the Martial Alliance''s bounty!"
While Zamri''s police officers cared about evidence, the bounty hunting martial artists did not care if Frank had been framed.
All they wanted was to kill Frank right now and im his bounty from the Martial Alliance that was all there was to it.
