Frank promptly picked up the box of needles, which he opened beside Kat, while also taking a scalpel from a nearby pile of surgical equipment. "Hey!"
Nurse Faith finally had enough as she saw that Frank really was going to operate on Kat and pressed Dr. Zinder, saying, "Do something! Are you just going to let him operate on a patient?!"
"Hmph. How is that my problem?"
Dr. Zinder folded his arms before his chest, snorting, "He barged in without a word, ready to cut into the patient. It''s obvious he''s crazy from the start, and I''m not about to mess around with a nutjob."
Then, ncing at the security guards around, he added, "And it''s their job, no? The man is holding a scalpel-who''s taking responsibility if I get hurt?" Nurse Faith was left further anxious as Dr. Zinder was clearly just shirking his responsibilities. "Are we just supposed to do nothing?"
"So be it. I''m just a doctor-not those martial artists that people like to talk about. Oh, but you could try the chief and let her deal with this." Nurse Faith was left exasperated by Dr. Zinder''s suggestion but had no other choice than to step out and call the chief''s personal number. "Hello, Chief Lawrence? Yes, we have a situation in the ER... can youe? It''s a nutjob trying to operate on a patient... Yes, I understand."
As she hung up and returned to the ER, Dr. Zinder nced at her and asked, "So? She''sing, right? Our chief is an angel, isn''t she?" "Yeah." Nurse Faith nodded in exasperation.
Dr. Zinder snorted and stood in the distance, watching andmenting on Frank''s work endlessly.
"Oh, look-he''s actually disinfecting the scalpel. So he''s not that dumb... heck, he almost looks like an expert...
"Tut, tut, what is that incision? Never seen that style before I wonder how long the patient is going tost. "Oh, my. He found another shard of shrapnel?"
Even as Dr Zinder was busy dissing Frank, Frank was holding back the energy of the Celestial Dew that threatened to erupt and deftly used his scalpel to extract the shrapnel that pierced Kat''s body.
ng!
Dr. Zinder was silent as Frank had removed over a dozen shards of shrapnel and dropped them into the basin.
He was clearly much better than Dr. Zinder, and it was ridiculous how he did it in such a short period of time too.
ng.
Even as the thought crossed Dr. Zinder''s mind, yet another piece of shrapnel was removed.
And by now Nurse Faith was amazed. "Woah... Could he actually be a doctor? He''s better than any doctor here!" "Hmph. Just dumb luck." Dr. Zinder snorted stubbornly.
However, Nurse Faith was perfectly aware of the extent of Dr. Zinder''s abilities. It was clear that he was just
trying to make himself look good, when he did not even hold a@andle to Frank.
As for the security guards who had rushed to the scene, they refrained from disturbing Frank upon seeing how masterfully he worked and how Nurse Faith was praising him.

Ding!
As pieces of shrapnel of all shapes and sizes were removed and dumped into the basin, Nurse Faith''s jaw dropped in awe. "T-There were so many pieces of shrapnel in Ber tiny body?! That''s scary! What even happened to them?!"
Nearby, Dr. Zinder was left staring in silence, but confusion showed in his eyes.

As thest of the shrapnel was dumped into the basin, Frank breathed out a sigh of relief... and a mouthful of ck blood.Copyright N?v/el/Dra/ma.Org.
