And just like how dew appears quietly in the mornings, the Celestial Dew''s effect was subtle.
Unlike the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom, absorbing it was a mild and withdrawn process, but the effect was just as impressive, if not better.
Naturally, Frank only felt that when he woke up.
It did not take that long either, as it was just two dayster.
The instant he opened his eyes in his ward, he felt the difference in his physique.
Not only was his physique more malleable, but his senses were also sharper, and he could actually hear someoneining downstairs when he closed his eyes, talking about how unpleasant work was.
"The Celestial Dew..."
As Frank slowly sat up, he instantly sensed the presence of countless foreign objects in his body-the shrapnel from the RPGs and grenades.
Winter did not remove those since it was risky, but it was no big deal for Frank as he was now.
He could feel that he had advanced well into the Ascendant rank and could control his physical body at will.
"Hah!"
With a stifled shout, two nail-sized pieces of shrapnel shot out of his ribs and into the nearby wall.

He shouted again andunched another piece of shrapnel out from his shoulder into a nearby cupboard.
With that, he kept repeating the process, and he soonunched every piece of shrapnel stuck inside his body away. Not only did he gain further proficiency in control over his own body, but he also felt considerably refreshed.
Still, he suddenly froze. "Right, the three-day deadline... How long was I out for?!"
He could not tell since he had been unconscious, but he no longer felt any difort.
In fact, the death pill that Elder Fango made him take waspletely gone from his body!
"Was that because of the Celestial Dew?" he mused.
Just then, a familiar face entered.
"Oh, you''re awake!" Nurse Faith eximed, appearing delighted to see him regaining consciousness.
"Oh, right. Sorry for troubling you before," Frank said mildly.
His calm voice actually left Nurse Faith doing a double take.
"Hmm? Is there a problem?" Frank asked.
Nurse Faith blushed, but she quickly caught herself and smiled. "Oh, it''s nothing. Sorry, it''s just that all heard from you before was grunts and groans, so I''m surprised by your voice."
Frank could not help chuckling too as he remembered what happened before he passed out, though he soon remembered that he had no time to waste. "Sorry, but may I ask how long I was out for?"
"How long? Now, let me see..."
Nurse Faith flipped through her notebook, and leveled a puzzled look at Frank. "Forty-eight hours."
"Forty-eight hours..." Frank murmured and sighed under his breath.
Adding two days on top of waiting for that deal, which had turned out to be a trap, the three days he had been given to gather evidence was clearly over.
