Cameron swung open the door himself, and boy, was he surprised to see Benjamin standing there. "What brings you here at this hour?" he asked, eyebrows shooting up. Benjamin''s eyes were zing red, like a leopard about to pounce. "Cameron, I thought we were like brothers, and you go and stab me in the back?"


    There was a flicker of confusion in Cameron''s eyes, though he had a pretty good idea why Benjamin was fuming. But he wasn''t about to let on. "You''ve been a great help to me over the years. I remember all you''ve done. Why on earth would I want to harm you?" Benjamin thumped his chest with a fist, frustration seeping through his words. "You think chasing after Nathalie is no big deal?"


    Over by the stairs, Greta had been eavesdropping from around the corner. The moment she heard Benjamin mention Nathalie, her face turned stormy.


    Greta was drowning in jealousy, her heart heavy with bitterness. She suddenly stepped out, ring down at Benjamin from her perch on the stairs, ready to tear Nathalie apart with her words.
