Chapter 550: Chapter 552 Mosquito Dragon

    “Nu~~~”

“Don’t, don’t, don’t, I’m not asking you to try it out here, we’re all on the same side. Just give me a general idea,” Zhu Minng urgently stopped the Heavenly ughter Dragon.

The Heavenly ughter Dragon looked as if it were ready to try it out for itself, and although hundreds of thousands of the soldiers setting out on the campaign belonged to certain powers that be, it would not be okay to ughter them indiscriminately!

ncing back, Zhu Minng coincidentally saw the g of the Great Zhou n.

After hesitating for a moment, Zhu Minng still suppressed the small idea that had surfaced in his heart.n/?/vel/b//in dot c//om

“Millennia Spirit Blood has been prepared for you, don’t worry,” Zhu Minng murmured to himself as he walked. “If even a Middle-level King Level has to strain to kill them silently, then we must have overlooked something.”

“Middle-level King Level??” Hao Ye, standing beside him, overheard Zhu Minng’s murmur and widened his eyes in shock, staring at this young junior uncle.

This junior uncle truly was not human.

“Senior brother, there’s a ridge here, seems quite deep,” said Zi Miaozhu, riding atop a Date-red Dragon Horse, leaning forward slightly.

Zhu Minng looked over, initially attracted by Zi Miaozhu’s graceful riding posture, slender waist and round hips beckoning onlookers to take a few extra nces. But soon Zhu Minng noticed something on the Date-red Horse Beast she rode. There was a dark brown insect clinging to the horse, seeming to be sucking on something…<div>

    Mosquito?

Zhu Minng observed carefully and recognized this creature.

Commonly known as the horsefly, these insects often burrow into the dense fur of cattle, brazenly sucking the blood of livestock, with cows, horses, and sheep all serving as their blood pantry.

How could these horseflies survive in such high mountains and such cold climate? Could it be that they simply clung onto these horse beasts and cattle all the way from Li Chuan in to these high mountain ridges?

As Zhu Minng was pondering this, suddenly the horse Zi Miaozhu was riding began to thrash about restlessly, its hooves stomping heavily on the ground.

“Senior brother, there looks to be something under here, a bit like insect eggs…,” Zi Miaozhu continued to observe the ridge, but the Date-red Horse Beast under her began to grow agitated and started pacing restlessly.

“Ye~~~~~~” The Date-red Horse Beast, perhaps bitten painfully by the horsefly, let out a cry.

Suddenly, the horse beast began violently shaking its body, its difort so intense that it nearly threw Zi Miaozhu off, who instinctively grasped the reins tighter!

“Miaozhu, get away from there quickly!” Zhu Minng sensed something was amiss and shouted at Zi Miaozhu.

Zi Miaozhu didn’t hesitate. Skilled at light body techniques, she stood up on the horse’s back, leaping lightly like a swallow flying toward Zhu Minng’s direction.

At the same time, the Date-red Horse Beast began to go mad, furiously twisting its body and charging toward Zhu Minng.

However, while running towards Zhu Minng, the Date-red Horse Beast’s body frighteningly began to diminish, bit by bit!

This scene was quite bizarre, and the word “diminish” truly was the best to describe it, as if a piece of cake was being slowly broken off, bit by bit, yet this was a live, robust horse beast with nothing visibly tearing at it!

This horse wanted to neigh in anguish, but for some reason, it couldn’t let out any cries of distress, and its body was dissolving as if y had been thrown into a river!

Its head crumbled into pieces of brittle bone, the bones turning into fine white sand.

Its body turned into pieces of flesh, the flesh then disintegrating into nearly invisible fragments!

The horse was running, and while doing so, it was dissolving right under the broad daylight!

The image was so horrifying that Hao Ye, standing beside Zhu Minng, couldn’t even believe the sight before his eyes!

    “`<div>

“There’s something gnawing at it from inside its body!” Zhu Minng said.

These creatures were numerous and gnawing simultaneously.

They ate the Date-red Horse Beast from the inside out, leaving nothing behind in just a few seconds!!

Just as Zi Miaozhu hadnded, she turned around to find her Date-red Horse Beast had simply “melted away.” At the same time, she was horrified to discover countless grey Mosquito Dragons scattering from the remains of the Date-red Horse Beast, and rapidly burrowing into the ridge ditch she had examined earlier.<div>

“It’s the Mosquito Dragons!” Zhu Minng was equally shocked!

Mosquito Dragons looked like flies but were even smaller than flies; describing them as mosquitoes wouldn’t be too much of an exaggeration. Even in astounding numbers, when they flew out from the body of the Date-red Horse Beast, they looked no more than a small cloud of dust picked up by the wind!

“No, no, no, they are dragons, Mosquito Dragons!!” Mr. Jinli’s voice came from behind Zhu Minng, equally filled with shock.

    Dragons??

Those creatures, no bigger than mosquitoes, were dragons???

“They are among the smallest dragons in the world. When they sleep, they turn into tiny, invisible eggs and attach themselves to nts and fruits. Ifrge animals or magical beasts inadvertently consume them, they will awaken inside and consume the host entirely to leave the body…” Mr. Jinli exined.

    Zhu Minng listened, dumbfounded.

    Dragons smaller than flies???

    If they all were dragons…

The small cluster he had just seen contained at least thousands!

“Don’t provoke them, don’t provoke them at all, whatever your Cultivation Base is. Don’t be fooled by their size, resembling little flies; each of them is a True Dragon!” Mr. Jinli warned once again.

Zi Miaozhu had already turned pale with fright.

So, thousands of dragons had been gnawing at her Date-red Horse, and she had been moments away from death!<div>

Hundreds of Flying Dragon Generals vanished along with their dragons.

Thousands of eagles disappeared as well…

They had encountered these thousands of Mosquito Dragons, and what was even more hair-raising was that these thousands of Mosquito Dragons were indistinguishable from a cloud of dust stirred up by the wind. How could anyone guard against that??

“We need to leave this ce,” Zhu Minng said, feeling a chill run down his spine.

Zi Miaozhu and Hao Ye didn’t dare to linger. Fortunately, the Mosquito Dragons had burrowed into the ridge ditch after devouring the Date-red Horse Beast. Had theye directly at the three of them, it would have been a terrifying ordeal.

Each one was a True Dragon!

Which meant that those Mosquito Dragons, smaller than flies, had at least the strength of a Dragon Son, with destructive power rivaling a Thousand Dragon Army!!

“They don’t emit any aura, and they have an extreme appetite. I bet that even with many high-level cultivators amongst your several hundred thousand soldiers, these living beings wouldn’t be enough to sate them!” Mr. Jinli’s voice came once more.

And with every piece of new knowledge came increased oppression and fear. Why would such a terrifying group of dragons exist on Upper Isted Ridge!!

“Just now, when I looked down into the ridge ditch, there were so many eggs…” Zi Miaozhu said, somewhat out of breath.

“The number of Mosquito Dragons is far more than those that ate the Date-red Horse!”
