Yvonne raised an eyebrow and walked over to Drake''s side. "What a small world! Are you here to try on clothes, too?"
The saleswoman jumped in quickly, sensing the tension. "Yes, Mr. Lowe is here to try on a suit he ordered."
From the fitting room, Debra pricked her ears to listen.
Yvonne''s eyes swept toward the fitting room. "Why didn''t you go change? Are you waiting for someone?"
"What do you think?" Drake smirked, his arm snaking around her waist.
She fell on his chest, her cheeks reddening. "Not here in the public."
"You stalked me," he said.
"No, I came to order some new dresses. I can''t stand anyone wearing my clothes." She paused, throwing her arms around his neck. "Did you take care of that pianist?" "I did."
"Good. You will pay for my new clothes, right?"
"Pick whatever you like. I''ll cover all expenses."
"Aren''t you so sweet?"
As she turned to browse, her gazended on a mannequin. "Where''s the dress that was here?"
The saleswoman stammered, "It hasn''t been disyed yet."
"Or did someone else take it?" Yvonne strode over to the fitting room, yanking open the curtain to reveal nothing but a dress.
She blinked in confusion. The
saleswoman hurried over, trying to cover up. "I''m sorry. I forgot to take the dress back. I''ll disy it right away."
"No need. I think it looks nice. I''ll take it."
"But..."
"What''s wrong? Don''t tell me someone else wants it and you can''t sell it to me."
The saleswoman nced at Drake, who nodded subtly. "Of course not. Whatever you want, Miss Sharp."
"That''s more like it. I never fail to get what I
meant." Yvonne cast a
meaningful nce at Drake and added, "Wrap this dress for me. I won''t try it on." N?velDrama.Org ? 2024.
"Right away, Miss Sharp." The saleswoman quickly packed up the gown.
Yvonne walked back to Drake. "I''m free tonight. How about I y a few songs for you?"
"Anything you like," he replied.
Yvonne pouted. "Then I won''t go. I''ll save myself the effort."
"That''s

he said indifferently.
Yvonne''s expression fell. "Why? Am I not ying well?"
Drake exined smoothly, "I''m just worried about tiring you out. A fairdy like you is not fitted for that kind ofbor."
His indulgent tone cheered her up. Meanwhile, underneath the fitting room, Debra frowned.
She was surprised to find a secret tunnel.
