Instead of exining the matter, Randy dialed Marion''s number and told Marion to return to the Potter Mansion as quickly as possible.
This thing was major. No one in Seamar City was aware of it yet, but Marion''s people had been closely monitoring the overseas situation. They would be notified at the first sign of trouble. It was alreadyte at night when Marion and Debra rushed back, with Debra cradling the puppy in her arms.
Erica was surprised. "Where did you two go in the middle of the night? And why did you bring back a golden retriever?"
Ori tilted its head, surveying the room. Debra set it down on the floor. "We adopted it. You mentioned there was trouble overseas. What happened?"All content is property ? N?velDrama.Org.
Andrew, seated at the desk, exined, "Recently, some small groups have caused disturbances. We found out quickly and managed to stop them, but there was still some unrest."
Debra furrowed her brow. "Just small groups? That simple?"
Randy interjected, "Of course, it''s not that simple. Those people were instigated by higher-ups. The real masterminds behind this are the remnants of the Bernard family."
"But didn''t Marion eliminate the Bernard family members after he took power?" Debra asked.
Andrew exined, "Like weed, it always grows back. There will always be those who refuse to submit to Marion, not for the sake of the Bernard family but for their own interests. However, to make a move against Marion, they need a pretext."
He turned to Marion. "This incident is suspicious. You''ve been away from overseas for so long, and suddenly this happens. Someone must have nned it."
Andrew had said enough to almost name the culprit directly.
Randy sulked, "It must be Cathryn. Marion has been more than generous to her, and yet she resorts to such underhanded tactics."
"Not her, Drake," Andrew rified.

"Cathryn doesn''t have that kind of influence. She''s just a front. The
puppet master has to be Drake."
Randy was surprised. "Drake? Hasn''t he learned his lesson yet, stirring up trouble again?"
Andrew turned to Marion. "What do you say?"
"I will go handle it," he replied.
"Now?" Randy eximed, ncing at Debra. "Bro, you need to think this through. If you go now, what about Debra?"
Erica frowned. "I think Drake is counting on Marion not wanting to leave Debra behind, which is why he dared to cause trouble overseas."
Debra spoke up. "I think Drake has always underestimated women. He probably believes I''m not that important to Marion and that Marion will leave me behind to handle the situation overseas. That way, with Marion gone, Drake can find an opening in Seamar City, join forces with Juan to create a rift, and then target me."
Andrew nodded. "Makes sense. That''s why I''m asking for Marion''s opinion."
Marion replied calmly, "I will take Debra with me."
Randy asked. "But if you both go, what about Seamar City? Are we supposed to fight a guerri war against Drake and Juan?"
Marion tightened his grip on Debra''s
hand. She looked down at their intertwined hands and said, "You don''t need to worry about me. Do what you need to do. I''ll always be by your side."
