Chapter 903

Kale pushed Debra into the car and ced a blindfold over her eyes.

    Debra frowned. "Is this necessary?"

"Yes, it is," Drake replied from the side. "You''re too clever for your own good. I can''t risk you outsmarting me again. Prevention is better than cure."

Debra sighed and put on the blindfold. She didn''t need to see. She already knew that Drake had bought a vi in the city center.

ording to their n, Marion should be waiting outside the vi by now.

Cathryn, sitting in the front, looked at Debra through the rearview mirror.

"What are you nning to do with Debra?"

"Miss Bernard, you''ve achieved your goal. Why do you still care about her life or death?"

"Are you going to kill her?"

If Debra returned to Marion alive, all her efforts today would be in vain.

Drake raised an eyebrow. "Do you want her to live or die?"

The question caught Cathryn off guard. She hesitated, unsure of how to answer.

She had never taken a life before. But if she let Debra live, she would never have a chance with Marion.

"You only have one chance to decide, Miss Bernard. Think carefully."Belongs ? to N?velDrama.Org.

    "I..."

Debra sensed her indecision and chimed in, "No need to make it difficult for Miss Bernard. Let me decide for her. Just kill me."

"I''m asking Miss Bernard, not you," Drake said coldly. "Your life is in my hands. You don''t get to choose."

Turning back to Cathryn, he said, "Since you can''t decide, I''ll do it..."

Cathryn blurted out, "Death. I want her dead."

As soon as the words left her mouth, Cathryn realized the gravity of what she had said. This was the first time she had held someone''s life in her hands. The feeling of having the O

power of life and death was

    overwhelming.

Debra smiled faintly, "Mr. Lowe, did you hear that? Miss Bernard wants me dead. What are we waiting for?"

Drake red at her. "Do you really have a death wish?"

Debra shrugged. "I''ve suffered enough from the drugs. Killing me would be a mercy." "Then why didn''t you ask Marion to kill you?" Drake asked, his voiceced with suspicion.

"I couldn''t bear to. Now that I''m in your hands, you can kill me without him having to go through that pain. And he will avenge me," Debra exined.

"Nice try," Drake scoffed. "You want me to kill you and then have Marion kill me in retaliation. You''re quite the strategist."

Cathryn picked up on the underlying meaning in Drake''s words. She asked nervously, "What do you mean? You''re not going to kill her?"

"Well, I''ve done what I promised.

What happens to Debra from now on is none of your concern. I hope you understand that," Drake said.
