    Chapter 2375

"Also... My ess pass is gone! That woman must''ve taken it when she attacked me!"

    rice''s heart skipped a beat.

The voice calling out her old name made rice uneasy, and her suspicions that it was not just her imagination began to sink in.

A chill ran down her spine as cold sweat broke out. She quickly gave orders to Jace. "I have to meet with the Boss now. Comb through the surveince footage and find out who had the audacity to cause trouble here! Report back to me and the Boss immediately!"

Jace watched rice storm off, his expression grim.

Having sessfully escaped the hospital, Be quickly got into the car as Steven hit the elerator, speeding them away into the night.

Steven could not help but nce over at Be, whose face was ghostly pale, her lips frosted white as though frozen.

He asked anxiously, "Ms. Be, did you find Jonah? Was he there? What''s the situation?" Be remained lost in her sea of thoughts, her dark eyes filled with mncholy.

"Ms. Be? Are you alright?" Steven raised his voice slightly, trying to snap her out of it. "She turned around..."

    Steven blinked in confusion. "Who?"

Be slowly lifted her gaze, a fierce resolve burning within. "I called rice by another name -Rosalind Gold-and she turned around!"

The screech of the brakes pierced the stillness of the night as the car abruptly stopped by the roadside.

After listening to Be recount what had happened, Steven''s grip on the steering wheel tightened, his fingers almost ripping through the material.

"Ms. Be, if rice responded to that name, could she really be Rosalind? Did Rosalind really get stic surgery?"

"The hallway was quiet. If you suddenly called out, most people would instinctively look back." Be reasoned, her tone cold and analytical. "But rice''s reaction wasn''t normal."

Her eyes narrowed as she continued, her hands clenching unconsciously. "There was shock and a hint of panic in her gaze."

"She''s gone through all the trouble to reinvent herself, returning from Meridan; of course, she''d want to bury her pastpletely," Steven said, teeth gritted. "But ''Rosalind Gold'' is a

name that followed her for over two decades. It''s not something you can just forget. When someone calls it unexpectedly, her subconscious reaction is unavoidable."

As the tide of information flooded her mind, Be began to piece the puzzle together. "Rosalind has reinvented herself as rice, Grant''s personal doctor. If Grant is the "Boss" they mentioned, then rice and Christopher seem to be his closest confidants. Their return to Savrow and their involvement with Salvador Corporation are all part of a bigger n. Hiding Jonah is just one part of their agenda. That hospital and the terminally ill patients there may be hiding a dark and sinister secret!"

After all, Be and Justin had uncovered the truth about the human drug experiments that once terrified Savrow-the mastermind behind it was Christopher.

Now, looking back, it was likely that the true puppeteer behind everything was Grant!N?vel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

The thought of Grant''s calm, elegant face made Be''s skin crawl. That seemingly gentle and noble visage now struck her as sinister and unsettling, like it was teeming with menace. What was Grant nning?

If he wanted Salvador Corporation, targeting Justin would have been enough. But what was his ultimate goal in doing this?

"Ms. Be, that hospital is definitely suspicious! Should we inform Ralph and let the authorities handle it?" Steven asked anxiously.

"No, we can''t act rashly yet." Be shook her head and said, "Do you think they''d dare pull off something like this without covering their tracks? They likely have their people in the police force too."

"If the police make a move, the hospital will be emptied before they even arrive. Once they scatter, finding another lead would be nearly impossible."

"Then... What do we do?" Steven sighed, his frustration evident.

Be''s voice grew quieter, but her words carried weight. "Grant''s uncle, Lucas, is in Fifth Prison, isn''t he?"

"Yes, Ms. Be. As you asked, I found out Lucas is being held as a high-priority mental health prisoner under heavy security. Only family members are allowed to see him."

The car fell into a heavy, oppressive silence, but Be''s mind raced. Then, as if struck by a bolt of lightning, she shot upright and eximed, "Ah! So that''s it! That''s their n!"

With a thud, Be''s head mmed into the car''s ceiling with a loud thud, making her wince in pain as tears sprang to her eyes.

"Ms. Be, what n?" Steven asked, unconcerned about her bumping her head- he was too desperate for answers.

Be rubbed her sore head, but her eyes shone with a sudden realization, eximing. "It''s all a ruse!"
