While Nash and Theo dined at the Millennium International Hotel, news of Jay’s death reached the
Kleins in Capiton.
In the Kleins’ ancestral hall, the family head, Josef, and his elder brother, Julus, were sitting on high
seats. The expressions of the
many Klein members varied greatly. Some were gloating, while others were crestfallen.
Only Jay’s biological parents were kneeling on the ground, crying
bitterly.
Silence fell as Marvin Klein entered the hall.
“Brother … Please ept our condolences,” Marvin patted Martin’s shoulder, his voice low and hoarse.
His eyes were red, and there was deep sorrow within them. He was not grieving for Jay’s death but for
the two Profound Reality Realm experts Jay had brought with him. His family had lent them to Jay. T
him, their value surpassed Jay’s.
“Father, you must seek justice on my behalf!” Martin moved forward on his knees and knocked his
head on the ground repeatedly. Jay was his only child, and now Nash had killed him. He had to seek
revenge for this grudge no matter what.
“Vengeance must be sought, but not now…” Josef said slowly.
They had already confirmed Nash to be a remnant of the Young family. Not long ago, they received
news that the Warden of the Northern Territory was suspected to be Wolfgang Young. Nash and
he were very likely to be father and son.
It has been 20-plus years since the fall of the Young family. Josef had felt no guilt and could sleep
peacefully every night for the past two decades. The past few days, however, had left him tossing and
turning. He was unable to sleep.
One reason was the Warden whomanded millions of troops in the Northern Territory. The other
reason was Nash, a Golden Amulet Master who was strong enough to kill Mystique Loyalty Realm
experts. These two individuals posed a significant threat to the Klein
family.
To resolve this crisis, he had to wait for the family’s ancestor to break through Johnathan’s seal.
“Dad, you’ve witnessed Nash’s rapid growth. If we continue to let him grow unchecked, he might even
surpass our ancestor!” Martin’s eyes were bloodshot, filled with anger and resentment. He only wanted
to avenge his son right now.

“You fool… You dare spheme our ancestor?” Josef mme cane on the ground, his eyes gleaming
with cold light.
This ancestor was the Klein family’s belief. Without the ancestor, there would be no Klein family today.
Yet, Martin dared utter such sphemous words. If Martin were not Josef’s own son, Martin
would have been a corpse by now.
“Martin makes a valid point. We’ve lost many powerful individuals in the Klein family. We can’t be
provoked by a newly risen upstart. If we allow Nash to go unchecked, how will the other nine major
families view us? How will we face our ancestors in the afterlife?”
Julus nced lightly at Josef. Most of the time, he was immersed in cultivation and rarely concerned
himself with family matters. He only emerged from seclusion to attend this meeting upon learning of
Jay’s
death.
He had not expected Josef to be so afraid and wary of a young man in his 20s, especially one who was
a remnant of the Young family. It was utterly absurd.
Noticing his elder brother’s anger, Josef’s brows furrowed slightly. When he considered Julus’ terrifying
strength, however, he patiently exined, “I’m not saying we won’t avenge Jay. It’s just not the right
time for it yet.
“Nash’s growth rate is beyond imagination. Killing him would require at least three Mystique Loyalty
Realm experts, and most of ours are currently assisting our ancestor in breaking the seal.
“If we were to divert them to deal with Nash, it would only dy our ancestor’s breakthrough.”
Julus sneered. “Aren’t you a master of schemes? Can’t you use someone else to get rid of Nash?”
Martin’s words just now had hit the nail on the head. Nash was
growing too fast. If they did not put a stop to it soon, he might break through to the Profound Oriental
Realm soon. A Profound Oriental Realm expert in his 20s… What a terrifying notion!
