“Mr. Calcraft, I hope you’ll keep your word,” Lana said softly.
“Since you’ve agreed to be my ve, you should address me as Master,” Nash said expressionlessly
Lana bit her lip and whispered barely audibly, “M-Master… I hope you can keep your word!”
“Have you heard of a soul contract?”
Lana shook her head in confusion. Although she enjoyed studying ancient texts, she had never heard
of a soul contract.
Nash smirked. “A soul contract is a spiritual covenant. I can scatter your soul with a mere thought, so
you must wholeheartedly obey me!”
Lana’s pupils contracted slightly, but she quickly concealed her surprise. In fact, she even looked a little
eager. “What do I need to do?”
“Close your eyes and rx your body. Do not resist in any way.”
Following Nash’s instructions, Lana closed her eyes and rxed ever muscle in her body.
Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDra/ma.O(r)g!
Nash pricked his finger and drew aplex symbol on Lana’s forehead. With the final stroke, a blood-
red symbol appeared in Nash’s mental realm.
Should he ever activate the symbol, the power of the contract would easily destroy Lana’s soul. This
was his contingency n. If Lana regained her memories, she would still be bound by the soul contract
as long as her cultivation level did not transcend the Nine Realms of Tribtion.
“It’s done.” Nash walked back to the vi with his hands behind his back.
Lana touched her forehead. She then took out her phone to contact her grandfather.
“Lana, when are youing back? The Kleins have decided to send assassins after Nash. You should
distance yourself from him as soon as possible!” he said urgently.
“Grandfather, I’m now Nash’s servant,” Lana replied softly.
“What? Lana, you…” Edwin’s voice was filled with agitation.
“Grandfather, all of you have underestimated the Young family. You/ know nothing about destiny.
Please tell Lucas to avoid provoking Nash. You must also draw a clear boundary between our family
and the Kleins.
“I dare bet that within a month, the Kleins will bepletely destroyed!” Lana warned.
“Lana, aren’t you blowing things out of proportion?” Edwin’s voice turned cold as he asked.
“Do you know who sold the many pills at the Great Eastern Tower auction?” Lana asked.
Realization immediately dawned upon him. “Was it Nash?”
Lana did not say anything and just ended the call. She had done enough. If her grandfather still refused
to see reason, then there was no hope.
As Nash entered the living room of the vi, he was met with questioning looks from Hera and Melody.
Sienna cut straight to the point and asked, “Nash, were you and Lana doing something inappropriate
just now?”
Nash’s expression darkened. “What did you guys see?”
“All three of us saw everything,” Sienna replied. What they saw from their angle was hard not to
misinterpret.
Nash nced at Sienna and asked again, “Do I look like someone who acts on impulse just because of
appearances?”
Even if he had such thoughts, he would not act on them in broad daylight. Sienna shook her head.
“No… Otherwise, you’d have feelings for me!”
Even Sienna, a top-tier superstar, had been rejected by Nash. It was impossible for Lana to have gone
that far with Nash so quickly.
Nash sat down beside Hera and hugged her soft waist. “Does my dear wife not believe in me either?”
He said with a grin before putting on a pitiful look.
Hera chuckled and snuggled into Nash’s embrace, “Of course, I believe in my dear husband!”
Right after she said that, Hera broke free from Nash’s embrace and leaned to the side. She patted her
chest. It seemed that she was feeling nauseous.
Nash frowned. He held Hera’s shoulders and asked with concern,” What’s wrong? Are you feeling
unwell?”
Hera shook her head. “It’s nothing. I might have caught a cold recently. I keep feeling nauseous.”
Nash raised a brow and then grabbed Hera’s hand to check her pulse.
Nash trembled suddenly, looking at Hera with excitement. “Honey… you…”
