Nash stepped aside and made way for Winston and the rest of the apprentices as they rushed in
immediately. Upon seeing his
grandfather lying on the emergency table with his eyes open, Winston burst into tears and called out,
“Grandpa!”
The apprentices from the martial arts hall were also ovee with emotion, tears of joy streaming
down their faces as they wiped them
away.
It was only then that Waldo realized he was still alive and wiped away his tears. Regaining his former
dignified demeanor, he called out to
Winston to fetch him some clothes.
“Winston, you stay here with the master. I’ll go buy some clothes!” said one of the apprentices before
he hurriedly left the emergency
room.
The doctor at the door stood there dumbfounded. He looked at Nash
in disbelief and muttered incredulously, “You… really revived Mr.
Giles?”
“I sure did,” Nash replied casually, hands shoved in his pocket. entire demeanor was as if he had not
done something significant.
The attending doctor and several nurses entered the emergency room to confirm. When they saw
Waldo Giles, rosy-cheeked and full of life,
they could not help but be shocked again.
The attending doctor even doubted whether he was dreaming and pinched himself. Sensing the pain,
he knew then that he was not
dreaming.
Nash and the folks from the Cosmos Martial Arts Hall eventually left.
Inside the car, Waldo kept thanking Nash repeatedly. Whether intentional or not, Wendy was
designated to sit in the front passenger seat. The youngdy observed Nash through the rearview
mirror and
noticed he was aloof.

It was as if he did not take her grandfather in high regard at all. However, she reasoned to herself that
since Nash had saved Waldo’s life, he had every right to carry himself with such superiority-
especially considering his medical skills.
Nash’s medical skills were undoubtedly superior to those of George, the miracle physician from
Xanthalos. He had refused to treat Waldo
when the Freemans attacked him.
“I heard from Winston that you’re from Jonford. I wonder if you know the miracle doctor, Brian Tanner?”
Waldo had some connections with
Brian. Knowing that Nash was from Jonford too, he thought establishing a connection with Nash
through this rtionship w
be beneficial.
“Brian? I do know him,” Nash simply said, not borating further.
did not want the old man to know that Brian called him ‘Grandmaste
as it mightplicate their future interactions.
“How disrespectful,” Wendy muttered quietly in the front passenger seat. Brian was highly respected, a
true giant in the field of traditional
medicine. Even George had to show some respect to him. Who was Nash to address Brian so
casually?
“Wendy, don’t be rude!” Waldo reprimanded sharply. “He’s from
Jonford.”
The fact that Nash dared address Brian by his name indicated that Nash was not inferior to Brian when
it came to medical skills.
“Wendy is still young and ignorant, Dr. Calcraft. Please don’t mind her, “Waldo apologized awkwardly
with a forced smile.
Nash nodded lightly with a faint smile. “I never argue with children.”
Wendy felt anger surge through her, and her face went white for a moment. She was furious, but she
did not daresh out. After all, this guy was her grandfather’s savior.
Suddenly, Nash asked, “Mr. Giles, do the Freemans always attack with such brutality?”
Martial artists had their code of conduct just as their challenges had
their rules. Since the Cosmos Martial Arts Hall had joined the Martial
Arts Association, there should be restrictions to the attacks based on
the rules of challenge.
